Liverpool - 22nd April 2006 - FF-UK: North By NorthWest Meet

Apologies for not sending out a PM yesterday, hopefully all will be revealed why I was preoccupied last night

I think if we meet outside Liverpool Museum (now "World Museum Liverpool" - http://www.liverpoolmuseums.org.uk/wml/ ) on William Brown Street - at 10am (Jase gets in for about 9:20am ish, so we should have time even if the train is a little late), then we can go there for a short while or however long the group feels then walk to other places - Worlds Apart and FP, and maybe Liverpool dock if people so want.

Cool! And I am still confused (easily done ), we meeting you at Lime Street or Liverpool Museum? Jase checked his train time, and in a total reversal (since it is usually me) he actually is coming in for 9:57am and not 9:25am Still not as bad as thinking LFCC was April 1st and 2nd and actually booking for then, rather than July 1st and 2nd which are the actual dates (I hope) but don't tell anyone about that little mishap of mine lol!

I would be Paul since I play bass, but I like eating meat and can't/won't sing so that cancles him out.

With these new times shown I guess 10am meet at the museum isn't possible now, so who what when where now?

Don't worry lads! It only takes about 5 mins to walk from Lime Street to Liverpool Museum especially on the dodging crazy bus drivers part on the road inbetween (even for us oldies ), so no need to panic and we'll be there probs 10:15am at the latest unless Jase's "Watto's own brand" zimmer is having technical probs. If so I'll get out and push!

Start getting bored waiting on those steps to cultural heaven, text me, and I can send some Jedi calming code back Otherwise know as we are nearly there, but not yet

Hehe, memorable moments that my sleep deprived brain can remember - "Bombs away!" (and that's all I am saying hehe *looks to sky for anti-yorkshiremen divebombers*), Jase trying to get a pic of a true Liverpudian, and the impromptu visit to hear the Beatles in the Cavern.

And now I am a subway covert too
I'll check thru pics tomorrow and post any good ones Fingers crossed the man in red will come out good.

Edit: As far as FF-UK rules go, since there were three NW people at the meet (and one NE), this can be counted as an official NW meet, so thanks guys, we are moving closer to doing as much as the NE lot. Maybe we could one day have a NW vs NE pool game, and see if they can handle the hustlers from West Northshire!

 

I wouldn't recommend it. I have, its also FF-UK rules that anyone who beats me in a game of pool gets perma-banned I mean, whats power for If I can't abuse it a little bit

 

Dude, you seriouslaly need to post him even if it doesn't come out well. It's just the whole "tr00 scouser" factor of his excistance.

Darn, I KNEW there was something to remember this weekend

I knew it was coming up but didn't think it was this weekend, anyways, glad you all enjoyed yourselves!

 

Twas pretty fun. Lookin forward to the next meet I get to go to whenever that will be.

I'm also going back into Liverpool tomorrow to start getting those Knights of the Old Republic comics. I quite enjoyed that short in the one you gave us Tim, Thanks man. I'm now going to enter the world of the EU.
