I've noticed some people in the fanforce have a hankering for the artistic side of things, be it creative writing or music making or anything else.

What do you do to get in touch with your "artsy fartsy" side?

Only artsy fartsy that I do is Plating Culinary creations... so sadly, they dont last that long once someone smudges it with a fork and knife.

But the idea of Plating food from the appetizer to the desserts always reminds me why I am in this profession... Ill try to take a few snapshots of my stuff if I get the chance and post it here...

Here's a clip of one of the bands I'm in. Sorry about the poor quality but I had to really smush it so I could host it somewhere. I'm the trumpet player.

Here's one of our mellower songs. This is candy compared to some of the harder or more experimental stuff. We recorded some weirdness under an overpass in Burnaby, and right in the middle a train roars by. It was awesome.
The link is to an mp3 on our site, so when you click it it should open a new window with quicktime. If not, just download it and use winamp... enjoy!

In case anyone is curious, Jimmy Heath is playing at the Birch Theater at Capilano College on April 15th with Cap "A" Band and Nitecap.

I'm a beatboxer, I'm not sure if that counts, but I do enjoy it and am passionate about it.

Here's footage of my first gig, which was really supposed to be about three minutes while my freind's band set up, but their setup ended up being about nine minutes, so I had to freestyle it for a while. I think I did okay.
