Abq Lobo Anime & Comic Toy Show and Anime Festival [UPDATE - EVENT CANCELLED]

Hey all!

Got word from Theo this weekend that it is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 19th at the Sheraton.

I will confirm with Lobo and find out costs for the table...

 

I like toys. Comics too.

Man that is week of Valentine's....I won't be able to make it .... you know I will be romancing and all!!!

 

What time is it at? The wife and I are celebrating V-Day on saturday 2/12 as well. We're doing our Sandia Peak V-Day ritual, so if the show doesn't end late I can still attend. Please let me know.

The event at the womens shelter has been moved to the 19th as well and we will probably have to split up.

never mind asked and got told no... i hate retail

 

I just heard from Ron about the upcoming Lobo event.

There will not ... I REPEAT ... there will NOT BE A TOY SHOW this time. Right now their events have pretty low turnout, so they won't be doing this one now.

However, they are starting the planning for the sidewalk sale/Free Comic Book Day and will be happy to host us again.

They are also wanting to do something for the Episode III release.

So, the Toy Fair Event is cancelled for February.
