Lobster Cannon in CW Chapter 5

Anyone know what exactly that lobster cannon is in Chapter 5?

At first I read your thread title and had no idea what was going on.
As for what the lobster-cannon is... I think it's just a massive energy cannon that operates underwater, and happens to be in the shape of a lobster.

 

I was privately told to lock my thread on this same topic yesterday, because it was apparently discussed in another thread, and because it's more "small screen forum" related... sigh...

However, since my thread was first, it would be nice if the mods would reopen it, if they feel willing to allow this topic to be discussed.

 

Lol i just call it a lobster cannon because that's what the guy said in the commentary. I'm guessing he made up all these names as he went along. He didn't really seem to know what he was talking about in Chapter 5.

"Here we see him redirecting lasers... and missiles."

And all you see is missiles and no lasers.

 

Tartvtsky, also calls it a Giant Laser Cannon, with huge beam that can cut through anything, IIRC. However he doesn't give much of a detailed description...

 

Wait a minute, lobsters, crabs, Mon Calimari? Is there any reason why I get hungry for sea food every time I read SW? Go hereor here for more info.

Does anyone know if GL or his staff are sea food fanatics?

Was that in Hyperspace or Cartoon Network commentary?
