JCC Local Election Information and Fanfic Thread

so i got my mail in ballot for the Tempe, Arizona city council elections today, and the research phase of my voting process was even more enjoyable than usual, because this woman's name was on my ballot:

Irina Baroness Von Behr

the nazi/crusader imagery is fantastic in and of itself, but she gets bonus points for some of her policy proposals, such as replacing bike lanes and bus service with an elevated rail system (stay with me here), rehoming owls to tempe neighborhoods in order to combat pests (maybe that's even a good idea, but let's see if we can't spot a general flavour to these proposals), and "alternative technology" policing (i assume this means drones)

SEE?!! this is what im talking about when i ramble at you guys about fascists being only politicians with a sense of aesthetics worth noting.

oh, and speaking of fascists... i dont know **** about german nobility titles, but im pretty sure that her last name means that she's related to this dude, right? a literal nazi

i love this woman so much that not only did i not vote for her, i have composed a short slice-of-life fanfic which imagines her ideal Tempe:

I believe Baron/Baroness was formerly a title but is part of the surname Maik. That does suggest she is the spawn of am Iron Cross winning Nazi, or at least in the same family fascistic oak.
