Count me in Nige - as we discussed.

No one here is offended by costuming events Nige mate (well - no one that is actually here and contributing and not just 'visiting'), just that its a small part of the FF crowd really as a whole and I think some peeps want to concentrate more on the social side (apparently) as this is of course what FF is good at.

Doesnt mean we cant 'meet' in costume though.

Its still a social event as far as Im concerned though - just I'm in plastic and Nige is in rubber and we help each other out in a backroom

Ah. Yes, none of us here are offended by costuming events. I'd think after being heavily involved in charity events that have raised nearly 2 grand in the past, FFUK: North would at least be known as costumer-friendly by now. We can't call ourselves a costuming group, unlike Rebel Legion and the 99th, because, well, we aren't a costuming group. There's more to us than any one part of Star Wars fandom. We cater for everyone, and yes, as Jase has said, we're here to provide real life socialisation between Star Wars fans of all types.

As for the event, 'fraid I can't make it. Prior engagement.

 

try the 'sig' section (special intrest gatorery) and the forums

 

have been contacted by graham (the organiser) and we have space for the backdrop and a table for stuff, we need some support staff just as spotters and to take some photos (not posed with the public just some candid stuff)

hi guys
the scale model event troop has been canceled, we ended up with 3 costumes and no support crew i know this was due to the short notice, but there is another event in couple of weeks time at the nissan sports and social club but its on the 8th of july....1 week before CE! now we could see this as a tune up for CE and working the kinks out of things, and apparantly the organiser of this one is right into star wars

when i get more details i'll post them, and i would like your thoughts about this one
