Tucson Local Sales and good finds....

Hello everyone. Not sure if any of you know about this but there is a store called Tuesday Morning and they have been selling the SW .45 scale lightsabers from Master Replicas for only $10 each. I bought one for myself, the ESB Luke saber and I picked up a few for a friend. I got him the ESB Vader and the ROTS Vader and Obi-Wan. The selection varies from store to store. They also don't know what they are getting from week to week, the best thing to do is find out what day their truck comes and call them to see if they got in anything new. Anyway, I hope this helps some of you, if not to buy for yourself then to maybe buy them as a Christmas gift. Enjoy.

They should be. In the colecting forum's scaled sabers thread alot of people were talking about Tuesday Morning selling these and these people were not in my area. In fact, a friend in Pensylvania was the one who originally told me about it. I need to try to check some of the other stores in Charlotte to see about getting more. Since they are being sold for so cheap and they are a pretty high quality item I am wanting to get one and use it as a prize for the Charlotte FanForce. Jada and I are trying to organize a trivia contest and have the scaled saber as a prize.

If anybody's interested in weapons from LOTR, check out an ebay store called KEITH'S WHOLESALE HEAVEN.
I ordered a couple of swords for a project I'm working on, will let you know if the quality is there when they arrive.

 

Received the swords today. They are LOTR knockoffs, but the quality seems to be there. Good enough for what I have in mind.

He can pull off a TreeBeard or other ent. He already has the stilts and leaves/bark is not that different to wear than fur.

I, on the other hand can do a hobbit or dwarf from moria No, not smeagol.

I can see Chris, Jake and Kathrine as elfs. Frankie and Dustin as a Urukai (size, wise that is).

Everyone else as citizens of rohan/gondor or other human kingdoms.

The d00d above me and I found some really nice glass SW ornaments at Lowe's.

The local target here (OK, I don't know where it was) has the "re-issues" of the large unleashed for $20. I saw several grevious and 1 Boba Fett. Needless to say I now have the Boba Fett.

Yes and no. My collection is all boxed up.... only thing out is the Royal Guard helmet and the Fett. Apparently I got my Altmanns prototype biker helmet also, but that is 500 miles away from me, I don't even know what it looks like.

At Lowes Hardware store(Oracle & Limberlost), in its Christmas section, they had STAR WARS ornaments on sale. In the line of glass "bulbs", they had two choices, the first set had a C-3PO head and a Yoda head. The second set had a Darth Vader head and a Jango Fett head. Both sets sold for $5.97 each.

Has anyone found the Dashboard Drivers? I'm desparately looking for the Vader one. Heck, I can't even find the Yoda or C3P0!
