*shrug* It is accurate.
Not accurate to some.
Speaking as someone who generally disliked the prequels and considers AOTC downright terrible: can we please leave the snobbery and stating-opinions-as-fact out of this thread?
Can we? Sure. Will we - hmm, see just about every thread ever posted here and I'd say - not happening. Not hat it wouldn't be welcome, though.
No dear, it's not. It's your opinion.
I've been wondering something lately. Exactly what was Vader's "plan" in ESB that he kills Ozzel for fouling up?
When you've got a ship generating the power of a small star, you're not going to be able to sneak in without alerting somebody.
Hence "The Rebels are alerted... Admiral Ozzel came out of lightspeed too close to the system" seems a bit of a case of casting blame where it wasn't warranted.
Possibly the plan was to leave the Star Destroyers at a certain distance from Hoth, out of sensor range and send TIE-Bombers to the planet to finish the job.
The only reason the Empire landed troops was because they had to bring down the shield generator which "can deflect any kind of bombardment".
