I know there was another logo help thread, but I don't want to bump it up just so I can hijack it.

I'm having some difficulties in the creation of my logo, I have the text part done but I want to add a lighning effect in AE to it. The problem is, if I change the outer and inner colors around, it eventually turns white and stays that way and I can't change the color at all.

    Here is the text part.

I want the lightning to go between the dots of the 'i's.

.....there's only one dot there. And the word is 'tittle.'

Ok, I've messed around a but and I think the problem is the color. For some reason, orange is not and acceptible color for the lightning effect, so it makes it yellow instead. Anyone know how I might put the orange in the lightning?

Sorry, I meant the endpoints of the lightning take the places of the 'i' dots in Livewire.

    'tittle'? confused

Yes is it definitely the color, AE hates orange. I wouldn't bother me so much, but I would prefer to have the lightning moving in the logo when I have it in a video clip.
This is what I have so far.

See, no orange in the middle, not cool.
