London, ON Logo/Symbol/Insigna

Hey ok, lets talk symbols!

The options are out there and I can make several designs quick, but I want your ideas guys.

Remembering this will be on clothing and banners at one point.

We do need to keep it simple, it IS a logo, so just give some input of elements you want to see in it, like colour, pictures etc.

So we have examples like YJN.

Patchs like on this website. (its 12 X-wings heading away from teh rebel logo)

I'd like to use One London Place, or a tree. I derfinatly want to use Green and Blue (pretty well London colours)

And personally I want to leave the rebel symbol out of the logo, just a me thing.

Ok ideas!

Be radical. I'll do a few designs, not just one or too. Then we can narrow them down and see what everyone thinks.

I don't want to vote online about this either...that and I hand sketch thumbnails

One London Place? Eh? What's that?

Maybe a Canadian flag (a small one at least) to distinguish ourselves from London, UK?

 

I wouldn't mind having the Rebel Logo in there, but anything is fine. I am assuming we're sticking to Rogue Squadron though?

 

I'd like to see something about London, rather than SW, but that's just me.

 

Well if you went patch then remember that every nasa shuttle has a unique image.

Also, just for reference, we don't have to do the Rogue squadron things.

If you can combine the two effectively, that would be great.

 

If you want a good symbol, how about a logo depicting the Labatts Centre with Darth Vader in the central window holding a brew in one hand and a glowing hockey stick in the next?

"Home to the London Rogues;" So to speak...

Actually Wolf and I were talking about Rogues and Anakin DID come up...the ultimate Rogue...We can have the logo and stuff Anakin Jedi Themed...

We've been official for a while now, so we should get started on this. Justin's a great designer, so we just have to decide what we want, and he'll make it. Does anyone have any ideas?

 

Well during the games night we discussed how we can theme it around Anakin somehow.

At our next meeting guys I'll get input and maybe draw some quick sketches up.
