damn... I was hoping they'd win though, just so we could lol @ the Spurs
Whoa, this thread is back from the dead!
Isn't it time for a banner change?
Also, I just noticed that the football has Paul Tagliabue as commissioner still.
It probably is time for a new banner for The Arena.
I changed it to another season banner [face-tongue]
But we could probably use another year-round all-purpose Arena banner. Maybe a banner of famous Arenas/Stadiums/Parks? That'd be pretty sweet, actually.
That could be pretty cool. You could have Fenway, Yankee Stadium, or Wrigley Field, and maybe a football stadium, like Soldier Field? Something that's recognizable.
But the current banner is appropriate for this time of year. Although I wish it was hockey, not basketball.
Oh, a college basketball banner
On second thought, let's go back to the Super Bowl
Let's not, and you can pretend that we did.
Hansbrough and his scary weird mask is back. Run for your lives!
His mask is very frightening. I wouldn't want to play against him if he was wearing the mask.
He should totally play in [image=http://www.comparestoreprices.co.uk/images/unbranded/d/unbranded-darth-vader-voice-changer-mask.jpg] instead
I agree with Inty
I think a new March Madness banner might be nice, too, though at least with Kansas, Memphis, and UNC its not too far off. And I suppose Wisconsin and G'town count there as well, though the particular players might be in question there.
An "Arena"(/Stadium/Field/etc) banner would be nice... and while Fenway, Wrigley, etc are deserving, it needs to include more than just one or two sports. Definitely some soccer stadium (though I wouldn't know which) as well as an (American) Football stadium and at least one basketball arena - probably MSG, though there are a couple other NBA courts that would work, as well as several on the college level, particularly Cameron Indoor and Rupp Arena, among others.
EDIT: Add UCLA to the list I named - with a sidebar open I didn't notice that one at first.
Last night I had a dream I went back in time to 1972, and went to a Dolphins game in Miami. Before the game I ran down on the field and went up to Mercury Morris and congratulated him on what's going to happen in 2007.
While you were at it, you should have told him to stay away from the blow and to not be such a bitter old ***** when he got older.
Hey, this is still here?
Have thread, won't travel.
I think this has been in the Arena longer than it ever was in FanFic.
Once you go Arena, you never go back
Yeah, it kinda died and was forgotten.
Or Inty held it prisoner, take your pick
Hey now ... my terms were quite clear. It can leave the Arena anytime it wants after a Cleveland-based sports teams wins a championship.
Will the JC still exist that far in the future? Will any of us even still be alive?
Oh wait... is there a high school city-wide championship? That might be a loophole there to set it free.
EDIT: Of course, I have lots of room to talk
This possibility is about as likely as either Rogue or myself switching sides in the great Dook/UNC battle.
ouch ... of course, I can still ban you, rookie! [face_evil]
lol, cleveland sucks.

Mark it down, I agree with Trika (well, except for the spelling)
Of course, watch the Indians somehow pull a miracle and actually win now that we've said such. Probably should go ahead and say that miracles in the Cleveland winning dept do not mean changes otherwise
And yes, I give the Indians a better chance than the Cavs. Not much better, but better.
