London, ON London Carnival Parade

You'll need to meet up at the garrison first. That means I'll have to get the key to jedidougcdn Friday. Today I'm out of town.

There are costumes fore people at the garrison.

Ummmmm ..... I've been in St Catharines this week, and won't be back in London until Saturday morning in time for the parade. I wasn't planning on meeting at the Garrision. I won't have a vehicle, and I won't be able to drive anyone in their costumes from the Garrison all the way down town to the parade meeting spot - wherever that is.... This is why I need the information from the Parade organizers a.s.a.p. Maybe Lord_Robert can just get the costumes he's loaning out to the people in the next day or two, and we can all meet up close to the parade beginning route.

Crap. What am I going to tell everyone?

 

I've called Johanna and left a message on her voicemail. I also spoke on Facebook with one of the volunteers who told me that everyone will meet around 9:30 at Dundas and Colborne.

I'm planning to be at Dundas and Colborne between 9:00 and 9:30. The march begins at 10:00.

 

Unfortunately Kristyn and I cannot make it to the parade tomorrow. I hope it turns out well tomorrow and I hopefully will see you at another event. Good luck!

Johanna got back to me. We are to meet in the C.C.H. parking lot at 9:00 AM on Saturday, to receive instructions from a volunteer there. They are looking forward to seeing us in the parade.

We had 9 marchers in the parade today. Thank you to everyone who came out!! Hopefully photos - and possibly video - will be on Facebook soon.

Thanks for setting this all up, Doug. Was great to see those who came out in costume! It was also good to test the Greedo costume out in a parade.
