London, ON London Rogues Garrison

Ok, everyone who is on the side of the Empire, this is what you have been waiting for.

The first meeting of the London Rogues Imperial Garrison is on Sunday July 15,2007 in the meeting room at Wavell Entertainment movies & games. One block west of Clake rd. on Wavell st.

We will be having bi-weekly meetings from 6:00 pm. to 9:00 pm.

We will help you with your costumes. You get to vacumform your own armor with soft foam. Serving the empire is a great way of life.

I finally got a 'Newton' portable waistband amplifier.

 

Well, the Garrison is looking good.

Two days left to go and we have handed out about 40 flyers at the store. We've had over 100 hits on the London classifieds.ca and Vader and the trooper handed out another 40 flyers on a walk about in front of the store. We may still go for another walk about tomorrow.

The garrison is off to a good start with 11 member in total. That's 7 new members Plus Myself, Andre-Fett, Darth-Sniklefritz and *Deathstar*. There will also be 2 more new members coming next week.

Also, it will be running every Sunday at 6:00 PM.

If anyone wants to stop in and check it out, please come in costume if you have one.

 

So I had a nother 7 people come out to the Garrison. However there were 2 guy in thier late teens that would like the Academy.

Also I have put up a sign for the London Rogues; Garrison and Academy.

 

Well, the Garrison is going to BK to do a little self promoting today.

 

What about making helmets for adults? And in different colours/styles. I'm interested in one those blue Republican guards, and I know someone who might like to make a stormtrooper costume.

 

Yes, I'm in the prosess of making the mold for the first clone helmet and the rest are not all that different.

sorry I haven't been to the last meeting but I had to work.
I'm happy to say that I will be able to make it to the meeting this sunday.
I'll talk to my friend and see if she is coming to this meeting too.

 

my brothers told a couple of their friends and they are interested so i might be bringing 4 new people this sunday
and im prety shur tom is coming sunday too

 

Wow! 4 kids that will be a hand full.

Maybe I should bring out my trooper costume.

I'll try to have the mold revised for Sunday.

 

I've come up with a stormtrooper blaster that's child size and affordable under $10 and you build it youself. I'll bring in the prototype this Sunday.

I was thinking of a name for the garrison. Does anyone know if the 13th Legion has been used.


Also I picked up a shelf, so if anyone has any books they'd like to give to the garrison, bring them in.

I think I'll be going to the garrison a little earlier this week. I have a few new thing to set up. I should be there around 5:00 if anyone else wanted to come out early.

 

Just a reminder that our rent is due. So if everyone could pitch-in a little that would be great. We're still lucky that we don't have to pay the full amount yet.
