I.E., CA Long Beach Comic Con October 2nd - 4th

Mike (and Sheila), thanks for all the work you've done on this to get it set up and the table looking good.

Sonya (and Darren), thank you for the work and patience you've put into doing the shirts. I have no doubt they're gonna be great!!

I'm sorry I won't be seeing the Saturday group. Finances and bills from a sick cat have forced me to make this a Sunday only event. I'm just happy I get to go one day!

 

If it's the difference between having you come or not, I say BRING THE BOY!

 

Getting ready to head out to set up for the Con. Our table is gonna look awesome to say the least! Simple Classy Profesional! If I could stress apon all of you to PLEASE BE ON TIME for your table time.

When I get down there today, I will call all of you coming to give you any last minute updates as in where to go if they've moved anything and what I find out about our volunteer stuff.

Looking forward to seeing all of you there this weekend. You all should be glowing with pride in the fact that WE MADE IT TO CON! Think of where we've come folks...this is the big time...CON BABY! Are you excited yet? Are you, are you? Let's give them a great show and have a great time as well. I want you all to have fun and when you're having fun, you're relaxed and when you're relaxed...well, you get my drift!

wow! this COn was great after missing San D. CC for two years this was like a shot od speed or somthing i am hooked all over again great time thank Mike the Booth looked great!!!!!!!!!!

 

Thanks Mike for making everything come together so well! I think for a first-time con, it was a great success! Looking forward to seeing pictures!

 

I'm sorry I missed those that I did on Saturday. It was good to see Jena and Allen! The table looked wonderful, Mike! Thank you for all your efforts!!! I think the book marks are a great idea as even kids can use them. Our new logo is so cool (thank you Sonya), that even if they don't live in the IE, people still want a book mark.

 

LBCC was lots of fun. Between walking around Disneyland and Long Beach my legs are Ti-rrrrred!!!

It was wonderful to see everybody on Saturday. Great con. Wonderful to see Obi Shawn again. The 501st were great. Sorry about the miscommuncation about Chrissy's costume. Didn't mean for it to be so tramatic for everyone. Probably good that you didn't see it, Kari. She did do a great job of promoting the IEFF when she was in civilian clothes. You did a great job Mike and Shelia with the table and everything. We did have a great time. Looking forward to doing this next year, only I will have a wheelchair for that one, and for everything that is coming up. I was very tired after the con, but still had fun. Looking forward to the pics. Wonderful you had a great time, Nicole and Ronnie. Great to see you again Allen and Jenn.

 

It was great to see everyone. I had such a good time. It was so much more chill than San Diego. It was like my own personal Con.

 

Having an issue with posting pics. I just found this out after posting them, hence all the edits to this tread...ugh!

Weird. Definitely weird. I'll log it with our Tech Admin. I know our latest IGN update is super buggy for Mods/VIPs. Like I can't use the greater than/less than symbols because it assumes I'm using HTML and then screws it all up.

It works fine for me in preview mode but not in posting. Weird. Another IGN glitch I guess. However, there's always cheating:

How did you do this? Any reason why some pics work from our other folders (from photobucket), and some do not?


I've spoken with photobucket and they're about as useful as a poopie flavored lolipop in regards to what may be happening!

 

My dogs might beg to differ with your opinion of poopie flavored lollipops!!

This is weird. I put the pics into a different photobucket acct and they show up as you can tell. I made sure the settings were correct on the IEFF acct and still does this. I'm going to let photobucket know this as i'm still "waiting" on answer to begin with.

I had all the pics up with captions, as I was editing and my computer froze. That means I just lost what I did for the second time. That said and I don't feel like messing with this any longer...I believe Kari posted the link to enjoy all the pics, so have it folks...enjoy!
