Full Series Long time Star Wars fan, New CW watcher. Pros and Cons?

Hey, I never dissed Vindi, and now you're dissing Dee Baker and Mortis? How is that fair?

 

Uh...Karina was Dee Baker.

 

Oh yes- one of his ok portrayals- along with Saesee Tiin and Ono is ok too- i was not bashing Dee Baker anyway just joking about his numerous roles- any voice actor would have problem to sound different every time when voicing so many

Mortis had good voiceacting though but entire arc is something you either love or hate or just don't care that stuff.....

 

My only suggestion - because I'm one of those saps that believes in everyone developing their own opinion - would be to only watch the film before the series if you're already planning on checking out the whole thing regardless of if you like it or not. In my opinion (and that of many LACWACers) the series, particularly the beginning episodes of season one, are vastly superior to the film, so if you're planning on just dipping your toe in the waters to see if you like it or not, I would HIGHLY recommend that you watch the series before the film. But again, if you're going to check it all out anyway you might as well watch it in "order."

 

Why the hell Downfall of a Droid, Duel of the Droids, and Lightsaber Lost on there? Those episodes were rated high if I remember, even the Mortis trilogy for the most part was well received by most people. The OP is just better off watching everything, and coming up with their own opinion of what is good and bad.

 

Yeah, fanboy's list is quite arbitrary. No offense to my friend, but I recommend that our inquirer ignore it.

 

The only one on that list is Duel of the Droids.

 

Not true, the Mortis trilogy got high ratings as well by most people on this forum, those episodes still did an 8 or 9 overall if I remember correctly.

 

I meant your list. And I still don't trust those Mortis ratings, like Overlord's.

 

Ugh, I've already stressed that the 'list' I posted earlier was a kriffin' JOKE people. I even made a post to tell you that; come on.

I'd say most of fanboy's list were definitely some of the lower-rated episodes we've had over the first 3 seasons.

I would watch in order, but if you want to get a feel for whether or not you'll like the series, I'd watch the following episodes:

Season 1

Rookiees
Cloak of Darkness
Trespass
Innocents of Ryloth

Season 2

Brain Invaders
Grievous Intrigue/The Deserter
Voyage of Temptation

Season 3
ARC Troopers
Nightsisters
Overlords
Padawan Lost

If you don't like these episodes, then I wouldn't waste your time watching the rest of them.

Because I would stand by that list of episodes not worth watching.

 

Well it is my personal list of episodes I could happily live with never watching again/burning anything to do with them, but I didn't really intend it to be a serious recommendation about how to approach TCW for the first time.

 

I definitely second whoever said start with the movie. I think it would be hard to watch the full series without it.

 

I'd be surprised if GG or CT's list of episodes to ignore was anywhere near that short.
