So You Look Around, what Do you See?

Buttons, not just a few, but MANY!

This Guide is to Show everyone what the Buttons do, and how to get em to work

The Top of the Page:

Firstly there is the FORUM BANNER. This is the nice Star Wars Pic you see on top of each Page. This May vary from Forum To Forum, but Pay it no Mind

Next There is the Add Bar. Also Pay it No Mind

Next there is a Forum announcement Line, Where the Moderator, or Moderators can place Announcements relating to the Board.

The Next Line is the Forums Useful Links. This is unique to each Forum, and directs you to threads which you may wish to go to. Look at the Name of Each Index to Find out what this does

The Next Line is The Forum Moderator(s). This is where the particular Forum Moderator Names are Situated, this WILL Differ from Forum to Forum. Clicking on their Name will send you to a PRIVATE MESSAGE Screen. This is where you can Report Problem Users. But until you have developed, and can spot a Problem User, then Leave it to the Oldbies

Next Down is Shows Where you are.

Clicking on the Jedi Council Forums will take you to the main page, remember this if you get lost

Next is the Main Window, as I Call it , which has all the main links

The first Link Bears your Name, and Takes you to Your Profile.

Then there is Logoff, which is self Explanitory

Next if Private Messages, where you can send Personal messages to a user. Think of is as a form or mail, from one user to another.

Search, searches the boards for a thread containing the letters or words you have typed in. A very uncommon tool, but can be useful sometimes.

Options, gives you many different tools, such as the ability to select your icon, or change your profile.

Help is a basic Tool which directs you to the IGN help page.

Markups and faces, help you do special colors and faces in your text. See This Thread

you should make this an official thread, mostly because you dont have any. if you dont, at least link it. it also might be a cool idea to have a map almost listing all the tereads and there topics, like the one at the info threads.

though I dont think anyone would have the time, or the will to do so.

We have a forum index, but it's very much out of date... I could unlock it and add some new threads (including this one ), though.

Also, I'm planning to re-do the header anyway, and I'm having plans for a few new informational threads too (there are a few months old by now ), some day I will find the time to type them up...

I'd like to have not more than one sticky thread, and I already have plans for that one. I'll outline it later today, if I can.
