St. Lou, MO Look at my weapons

I know this is pretty random, but I'm bored so I thought I would show you guys some weapons I got last week on vacation.

Here's me playing with my nunchuks and sais and a shot of all three things I got. The tanto is not really well made. I just got it to decorate my room this fall. The other stuff, however, is really nice. I've already learned a few moves with the nunchuks from a website I found, but I haven't found a place to learn the sais yet.

Does anyone else have some sweet weapons?

I'll take a few pictures of mine later. Too tired right now, but I've got a longsword and an 8" dagger.

If you want to include my SCA weapons I've got 2 short swords, a great sword, and a polearm.

 

I have SCA weapons as well. I have a short sword and currently Jon's polearm. I'll snap some picts tonight when I get back from work.

I'll have to take some pics of mine later. I have two rapiers, one for show, one for fencing, a fencing sabre and foil, my Ren Faire dagger, wooden broadsword, and twin daggers. Oh yeah, and a bunch of plastic lightsabers.

 

All I have at the moment is my Marine Corps NCO sword.

I do want to add a katana to the "collection" sometime

 

I have my bow and my paintball gun... I need more arrows...

 

Couldn't help but to reply to this post. I have everything mentioned above,(Sais, Katanas, etc etc), as well as a huge list of combat and assault gear. I'm also a NRA certified rifle instructor.

Don't have on my combat or patrol packs in the pics, and all the pouches are empty in these pics, even the personal field medic kit.

I need to take more pics next time I'm going to the range in my newer gear. And yes, I do have a license for all those systems.

Dam, just noticed I don't even have a sidearm on in those pics.

Found this site by accident. I don't look at these types of sites, as I rarely do work with Lucasfilms. Mainly work on Japanese toys and designer vinyl, and I don't think anywhere in St. Louis carries any of these.

One of my little sayings or philosophys if you will: Guns are for show, swords are for pros. Don't take that too offensively.

 

Yes but my philosophy which comes from years of playing video games says that your sword will be laying in your dead hands before you get within 50 feet of me and my (pick one) pistol, assault weapon, shotgun, flamethroewer, blaster pistol/rifle, sniper rifle, bolt action no-scope rifle, machine gun, and I am probably forgetting a few in there.

Ok, and if a sword could deflect/block a bullet, they would have my vote as well. Ok, well if I had the ability to use said sword to block a bullet.

Anyone can fire a gun. Not everyone can go through the training with a sword.

And I completely agree with you, however that was not the point I was making. You compared guns to swords when you said guns are for show, swords are for pros. The point I was making is don't bring a sword to a gun fight.

That's my helmet. It will soon be pretty and white, and dented if Jon has his way tomorrow.

On that same photobucket page is a picture of a bruise I got two weeks ago froma sword that has still not healled all the way.

When I'm not dead beat from a lond day I'll take pictures of the rest of my gear. Maybe soon one with me in it!

 

Yodaismygod hit the nail on the head or "hammer on the bullet", bring a knife (sword) to gun fight and you lose.
