Yeah, but that was only cause Ford had the flu. Actually, I'm glad he did...that made it funnier.

Ouch Dajuan! That must have hurt. You wear armor, right? I had a welt almost all the way across my back from a sabre melee in our fencing class, some idiot just ran up behind me and full force hit me with his sabre on my back. I was pretty mad that night...

That is an awesome helmet though.

See, even Indy would have had to do a sword fight, if he wasn't sick, and then who would you have to back you up??? LOL! Just kidding, I know you would probably find someone.

Hehe... I just got my senior pics in today, and they let us do some with props.. Guess what my props were.. I should see if I could put up one of those pics on here. Otherwise, I'm just gonna use the digital cam tomorrow and take one of the weapons.

 

meh... just give me a lightsaber or elven weapons and I'd be happy as a piggy in the quagmire

My dagger. This is my precious. I take care of this one more than any other. I got this at Ren Faire for being a guard, we all earned them. It was my first year at Ren Faire when I got it. The blade is really sharp, when you pull it out, it still smells like new. I haven't done what Captain did with the swords and daggers he had. His word was, you had to "feed the blade" if you pulled it out. Meaning, you had to feed it blood. Either the person that pulled it out, cuts themself, or you have to cut yourself. I did that once, when I wanted to look at one of his blades. It's kind of a cool philosophy, but I don't want to do it all the time.

My rapier(my nice one, for show mainly, stainless steel blade)and my dagger.(I used these for my Ren Faire outfit last year.)

These are my fencing weapons. In order from top, down: My foil(which I need to retire), my fighting rapier, and my sabre.

I took this pic with a flash. It's my wooden broadsword with my double daggers(you put the daggers together, and then hit the switch and pull them out. Very cool. Very sneaky. Yes, they're sharp. ). I do fight with my wooden broadsword, but only through practice bouts in my broadsword class(which ended last summer. ). That thing can break bones easily.

Those are all really nice. I'd like to see a couple of the fencing blades in person sometime. Play with them a little.
