Looking for Anakin

I am searching high and low to find a guy who has done an Anakin costume. I'm going to CIII as Padme and I was looking for an Anakin to accompany me at CIII. Anyone intersted please PM me or post to this thread.

 

I'm an Anakin who was hoping to attend CIII.

However if it is indeed in Indianapolis again like is rumored, I probably won't be able to go. By that time I'll be in Episode III Anakin garb anyways. Hope you find someone.

 

That's too bad if you can't go to CIII. Would it be the money or is it just the distance for the reason you would not be able to go?

 

The money shouldn't be a problem, it's just the distance.

 

I'll be Anakin but I am sure my girlfriend may be a tad nervous about me escorting a Padme lol

I don't think there has been an official announcement as to where it will be, but it should take place in May of 2005. Just prior to the release of Episode III.

I've been to both Celebrations and highly recommend you go to C3 if you can.

So, LauedGiind, which of Padmé's costumes will you wearing?

 

i for one, would like to see the organizers STICK by their word of "centrally" located....

how the *ell is Indianapolis centrally located ???

central to WHAT ?

sure as heck ain't central to ANYONE on the west coast ?? (that and the crowds from Cel.I is prolly why i didn't go)

now DENVER is more central that Indy....

guess it boils down to who will give the con organizers the best deal, which is too bad...

Forget central. It should be in San Diego. Anyone that's been to SD Comic-Con has seen how a convention should be run.

So, LauedGiind, you could try contacting your local fan force chapter to see if they have any Anakin costumers.

Obi-Dawn- Hi, I am actually making the Senate dress right now for Padme plus I plan to be doing several other costumes right after I finish. At this time, I am working on the bodice for the purple Senate dress. I thought having an Anakin would make a great impression on my costume and since I have similar features like Natalie I would like to fool people to think it would be the real Padme. Anyone in my fan force doesn't look very similar to Anakin and they have not even made an Anakin costume so I am searching high and low for anyone interested.

Although I am married, my husband does not look like Anakin and he is not a big Star Wars fan like me to get all dressed up in costume.

As for the location, it won't matter to me because I will have to fly out wherever it may be. I personally would like it to be in Indianapolis because I have a lot of relatives there and I know the city.

 

Sorry to steer the convo a bit off track again, but C3 is pretty much confirmed in Indianapolis, April 22-25, 2005.

Back on track... I only know two guys who look like Anakin from our club (no sorry Primrodo you don't count! )

One has posted here already with a pic and if the light is just right he does look like Hayden Christensen. Don't think he'll be able to afford to go to C3 though, he is still a high school student.

The other person is only an honourary member of our club. He hasn't been to any meetings yet, but I know he should be at C3. His name is Hayden Christensen.

 

Denver is hardly centrally located for the East coast!

Wow, Padmé's purple senate dress is a great project! Have you read through our Padmé's Purple Dress thread yet? We have quite a few costumers who are currently working on, or have recently finished this costume. I'm sure they would all love to hear about your's and how you are making it. And, so would I!

 

Obi-Dawn- Yes, I have read that thread on the Purple Padme dress as well as checked out Padawan's Guide. I have to get the velvet yet for the costume and I am having a hard time finding the piping for the coat so I might have to make that. The cording was a pain to find but I am going to try out this cording from some website and see if it works.

So I guess I am not going to find my Anakin from the looks at it. I am not about to give up yet.

 

Since it is CIII, you'll definitely find at least one Anakin there, if not 3 or 4 or more. Unfortunately, not all of them get on this message board. Don't give up yet, you'll find someone.

 

Yeah it would be great to find one. Maybe I'll just be lucky enough to get a picture with one while I am there at CIII.

Well if God is willing I will be there-and if i'm there I will be Anakin. I do look like him and I'm going to grow my hair out to be e3 Anakin. I do graduate from college in May however so that might keep me from attending.
