Phx Looking for the Second and Third Amigos

Here we go...

The deal: I am willing to put aside any and ALL sewing projects for this year to make MOVIE ACCURATE costumes of the Three Amigos (have you seen how bloody detailed those things are!?). Yes, the movie with Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short. These will be done for Comic Con.

The catch: The participants for whom the costumes are made must do the following:
--Perform the song/dance number "My Little Buttercup" from the movie. And I mean really perform. The silly dance, the facial expressions, the butt shaking, ALL OF IT.
--Enter the Masquerade at Comic Con and PERFORM forementioned song-n-dance for the contest.

There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this.

The cast:
Thus far, I have one participant who's a solid YES. Thus, I search for the Second and Third Amigos.

Dusty Bottoms (Chevy Chase): Commander Choad - a resounding YES
Lucky Day (Steve Martin): ????
Ned Nederlander (Martin Short): ????

Requirements - Must be of the MALE gender, shorter than Choad (there's a tough requirement ), willing to do the song and dance number, and do it well! Nothing short of complete dedication, otherwise, the costumes aren't worth the work (in my humble opinion )

So, do we have any takers??

 

I'd do it, but I don't think that my soprano would blend well with the others.

 

Heh...I think I'm a little tall. Plus I cant dance or sing. I have many talents but that isnt one of them.

Okay, due to scholastic and monetary restrictions, LordParsec will not be able to participate. So, there are now TWO positions open. Remember, I don't put aside any plans or postpone any costumes until I have ALL THREE spots filled with a resounding YES.

I'm morbidly curious on this. Do you have a copy of the performance routine ? Be warned, you've heard my singing though...dancing can't be too hard, just think of it as a strange kata

Just so it is known, this movie is on my top 5 list, so whomever takes these roles has a place in heart for the rest of eternity...

I'm 5'9. I took 2nd at a karaoke contest. And I study at home so I have all the time in the world to learn the number. Can I do it?

 

BTW--the karaoke contest was at the Wisconsin state fair.

Umm, so whats new about Queenie being late? Or always in the shower. I can't wait to see Void and Choad dance, I'll make sure to bring the video camera and make lots-o-copies for everyone to have = )
