    The 60 Minutes story about clinical trials at Duke using the polio vaccine to fight brain tumors has set off a wave of speculation about potential side effects and risks to public health.

    In particular, what happens when the virus escapes its clinical environment and turns 99.999% of the human race into vampire-like mutants, leaving only Will Smith left to find a cure before time, and/or his luck run out?
