Lord of the Rings DVD Fellowship gathering 8/24 / Bilbo &Frodo Birthday party 9/22

    Hey gang,
    Major things are a-brewing as we get closer to the Two Towers movie event. Here's what's cookin' -

    Saturday August 24 - 4PM Salisbury, NC
    It's a Lord of the Rings - gathering of the NC Fellowship - details are at this URL:

    $5 fee to help defray the cost of the room rental. Come to a party on Saturday Aug 24 4PM, bring something to share, watch the DVD, all in a park setting. (I'll probably be late since I have to do stuff at Cary's Lazy Daze)

    Bilbo & Frodo's birthday party - Sunday September 22 1PM - stay for pizza and cake, with live sword fight, midieval weaponry seminar and renaissance costuming seminar.
    Borders Books & Music, Chapel Hill , on US15-501. Fee is free! :D

    It's midway between Charlotte and Greensboro off I-85. (40 miles north of Charlotte, 40 miles south of Greensboro) :cool:

    I figger it'll take ~ 2 hrs to get there from here .
