I hope there's some behind-the-scenes pics of Howard Shore's assistants holding his arms up Moses-style as he conducts the final scenes, muttering, "Peter, does this shot ever END?!"

I just ordered the complete Fellowship recordings.[face_dancing]

What is going to be in the book that Adams is working on?

My one little complaint about these releases is the packaging color. On my shelf display, I have the Fellowship CR next to The Two Towers EE, The Two Towers CR next to the Return of the King EE, and will now have the Return of the King CR next to the Fellowship EE. They should have made the damn colors match up! :p

By the way, FSM will be doing another CR podcast a day or two before Nov. 6, and they've set up a special phone line for you to call in and leave your questions for them. The number is: 773-840-7470.

Haha, even though I keep my CRs in a different place from the EE dvds, I did notice the rotated color scheme. Odd.

I contemplated adding that same complaint to my previous post, but obviously decided against it. I find it weird, but ultimately, they could package it in a used pink cookie box, I don't care as long as I get the music :p

I have my DVDs in my DVD cabinet... and the boxes for the CRs are with my CDs. I couldn't care less that the colors are different.

    Just pre-ordered it. :D

As for the colors, I actually like the CR color scheme more than the EE as they seem to match their respective films better.

I got really bored at college and decided to order the Fellowship CR, finally. This better be worth it.

If you're a fan of extremely thematic and emotional music, you'll love it. I personally guarantee it. If you're not completely satisfied after 30 days, I'll offer you a full refund.

OK, I lied about that last part.

Slightly off-topic, but I just ran across the Howard Shore "Artist Playlist" on iTunes (it's in the Soundtrack section). Interesting. Mozart, Prince and Roger Waters, among others.

 OMG, why is it not listed on the UK site already. I have not found one british site which has this up for preorder yet. So annoying, considering it will be the same box set here in the UK as it is in the US (and Germany) anyway. And Germany get it before the US, I hope we get a release date for it soon. It's already less than a month to go until the US release and I've heard nothing in regards to a release in the UK.

I'm a nerd. I downloaded the cover art for it and edited it in Photoshop to make it into a square. Thus it's ready for when I import this thing into iTunes. :-B

Thanks for the list, ttbk. I am (hopefully) assuming that "Days of the Ring" will include "Into the West". It's such a beautiful track and I couldn't imagine the CR being without it.

    Is it 11/6 yet?

"Bilbo's Song" was apparently composed specifically for the EE Fan Credits. It's the last bit of music at the very end of the credits.

Sounds like it'll be a very nice end to the album.
