Whislt the battle at mount doom seemed sucessful, the Hobbit Frodo was corrupted by the ring, killing Gollum at the same time. The Hobbit was overwhelmed by the Nazgúl. But they did not kill him, instead encouraging him to follow them to the Black Tower, and hand it to Sauron. Be this the work of the ring, or Frodo's now-twisted mind is unkown, but reclaiming that ring is the only way to ensure the survival of Middle-Earth.
Already the Elves have received the message, carried by the Eagles that witnessed the transformation, and the ones not already departed are returning to the strongholds of men to hold out against another possible attack from Mordor - their last parting gift, whether to the Grey Havens, or to the afterlife. The last rings the Dwarves possess have alerted them of the actions of the One, as they have studied theirs for years. Their last clans now mobilize for war, even rallying themselves to Forts of men that need rebuilding, their headquarters in the Rohan fortress of Helms Deep - where their member of the Fellowship blew the Hornburg to signal the end of the battle. Men, as the ones who are told to outlast the other races of Middle-Earth, now rally and send their most valuable and dangerous soldiers to the frontlines, one being an ageless Nazgúl - the first being ever transformed by a Morgul Blade - the forgotten Prince of Númenor, Lartimus Aravii: turned atop his steed Charcol, the second being to be turned by a Morgul Blade and now once more bearing his weight. Even being of Evil have joined the forces of good, as being bred for war, they may fight for the side that will cause the conflict to last the longest.
Frodo is now being escorted by the nine Wringwraith to the tower of Barad-Dúr, and a selection of the battles survivors must attempt to either assassinate him, or rescue him. Either way, taking the ring back into the hands of good - be it to destroy instantly or await for a later chance. The Members of the Fellowship must turn to rally their races, and so it falls to you to perform this perilous task.

    This is your tale.

Nerves: A slight darkening in his eyes whenever he hears the word 'orc'
Likes: The moonlight, the stars, the sound of running waters, and most of all, crushing the forces of Sauron.
Dislikes: The forces of Suaron and all other abominations in Middle-Earth

Skills: The ability to communicate with certain beasts/animals, master with a bow and light blades.
    Appearance;
    Height: 5'8"
Build: Thin, but with lots of toned muscle.
Features: Your typical drop dead gorgeous elven face.
Clothing: Over a small cuirass of strong chainmail Elcalion wears the typical greys, browns and greens of his fellow Galadrim. He also wears somewhat loose-fitting slacks that allow him greater movement. On his feet are leather shoes, unlike most of his kindred he finds boots a little constricting.

Hair: Platinum blond hair that he lets flow down to his shoulders.
Eyes: Rounded with very pale almost white irises.
    Armament;

Companion: He has a falcon that he uses as a scout to go to where his own eyes cannot.
Bio: Born to those elves who remained after the chaining of Melkor he was raised in the care of Galadriel and Celeborn of Lothlorien, a land most guarded and sacred to the Noldor. Growing up he was always a curious and inquisitive boy, going to the libraries and archives to study all he could about the world. When he came across tales of the war with Melkor and that against Sauron in the second age he knew that it would only be a matter of time before another great evil arose, he had noticed that history had a manner of repeating itself. He did not expect it to be the same evil his father had helped to slay in the second age. As he studied history in his youth he also studied the way of the bow and the shortsword. It wasn't long until he surpassed his mentors, indeed eventually teaching them better techniques and strategies to better defend Lorien. He was also one of the fastest with a blade, his blades a blur as they could easily take down an orc in the blink of an eye. At this time he discovered he had the ability to communicate with animals, the main one was a falcon that called itself Soronion, Elcalion instantly took him on as an ally and scout, to go where his eyes could not.

Elcalion was eventually placed as an advisor to the court of Celeborn and Galadriel, wise beyond even his years they found his reason and decisions effective. This is also why when they discovered that the hobbit named Frodo Baggins had been captured and was being escorted to the Barad-dur, that he was selected to go with a company of several other beings from Arda to rescue, or if necessary, slay him and those that were bringing him to Sauron. This task he excepted, the elves could not hold back another wave the likes of the Last Alliance, they had gro

So at the age of 6 Caen learned to steal and the weird thing is even at six he was exceptionally good. So for 6 years he provided for his mom by stealing until she insisted he get an education with some money she had saved up from his stealing. Caen at first protested asking how would they eat without his stealing but his mom assured him she had found work. So every other day a scribe from the castle came down and taught Caen reading and writing at their small home. Everything was good until one day him mom never came home from "work." Caen asked around and found out she had been caught stealing and tried to escape even though she walked with a cane. Caen knowing the harshness of the dungeons knew he had little time to rescue her. He set up a job with a couple of his thief friends and they were successful but Caen was caught in the process.

He spent 8 years in the Dungeons plotting his escape and honing his thieving skills stealing from passing by guards. Then once he thought he was ready he picked the head guards pocket stole the keys and escaped. He spent 2 days looking for his mom until he discovered she was long dead starved to death on the streets. With that knowledge he left Gondor and vowed never to come back. He spent the next 10 years roaming the world, he spent time in Lothlorien where he became a personal friend of Celeborn and served in their roving bands of elves where he honed his scouting skills. Then he spent time with the dwarf lords amusing them with his knife skills and became good friends with them, and it was them who forged him his unbreakable lockpick and chainmail vest. Then he visited Rivendell and fell in love with the beautiful scenery and decided to stay there for good to help him forget his sorrows. Elrond had suggested him for the first fellowship because of his "odd" skills though Gandalf rejected him because he distrusted him. Though now that the ring has been taken by the enemy Caen has been called upon to do what he does best and steal it back.

GM: Aragorn - Minas Tirith/Citadel Ring/Tower of Ecthelion Top Floor/Council of the Fellowship

Aragorn looked at the assortment of men he had around him, the new fellowship, now the whole company had arrived yet, Mordor had already blockaded many roads, so travel may be slower for the furthest ones, but he had to think of the present. He looked again a the present group: three men and an elf, he turned to Faramir behind him "Where is Aravii?" he whispered, looking over to the Elf instantly, knowing that he will have heard that, and possible known who he was referring to. "He's on his way now, Berethor is trying to keep him a secret, but Aravii isn't having any of it" came the reply from the Ithillien Prince "Well tell Berethor to throw a large rug over him and push him" he said sarcastically, knowing the Wraith's traits well. He then turned again the the company "When the final member that we know is in reach gets here, I will breif you, we have no time to lose. He looked from Halmir, whose last name was known only by himself and Halmir, past the renowned wizard Jaden Sieg, in his unsual purple robes, finnaly landing his eyes on Caen, his most questioned member of the New Fellowship. This man has a shoruded past, for reasons that Aragorn new full-well being what he had been told aobut him by the Elves, including his last stop, Elcalion. He was about to make a mental assesment of Elcalion, when Lartimus walked through the door "You called" he spoke in the recognised Nazgúl way, tracing Aragorns look though the group "Are these the candidates?" he spoke, looking at Aragorn "No, these are the other members that have arrived so far" came the reply "I thought it was small, not quite as large as your party, Strider" he now turned to Faramir "Prince of Ithillien" he said, looking up and down Faramir "Guard it well, Prince" he now turned around to Elcalion "Told you you wouldn't miss our next meeting" he said, almost boastingly.
Elcalion bowed to the Wraith and had an experssion on his face of a grin, only his mouth remained still. He returned to his seat as Aravii looked at Aragorn "Begin" he said, in a near-commanding tone. Aragorn sat as Berethor entered the room "You move fast when you want, ancient" he spoke to Lartimus "I dont wear your armour...or flesh" he said in a cold response, turning to Aragorn for the last time.
"As you all know, Frodo has been corrupted by the ring at the end of his journey, Gollum is dead and Sam is no-where to be seen, but we beleive him alive as a result of hints from the remaining Palantir. Your mission is to retreive the ring, by taking Frodo or, as a last resort - leaving him, dead please" he paused for a moment, seemingly reflecting upon his last meeting of the Hobbit "I would very much like to speak to him again" he said at last "You will travel to Mordor via horseback, The battle of the Morannon is still ongoing, i pulled backfor this council alone, and I will return with you once it is over" he reasoned "Why not tell us on the way there, then?" came a reply from Caen, obviously becoming restless in this very formal room "Because, the eye cannot see inside these walls, elsewhere the Lord Sauron will know of our intent and kill Frodo intsantly, forsaking whatever reason he had before of sustaining his life" came a hissing rpely from the robed figure "Carry on, Strider" he finished. "Well, thats about it, take the ring, desroy it then and there or wait, we know that one of you can fight against its will better than even Frodo, and the rest of you have enough will to not attempt to take it from them, and Lartimus here is there to enforce that, as he has protected himself from the influence of the ring, unless touched by it for a prolonged period - this is why he will not be carrying it" Aragorn finished and stood, followed by the rest but the already-standing Nazgúl "I now end this council, good luck on your quest" he turned from the room and left.

"Lord Elessar, a word if you will." Elcalion said as he walked over to the proud man that had held the council. "I fear you vastly underestimate the Dark One's power. It will be no mere march into the fields and wastes of Mordor, we are in need of more than just a sole magician to hold back the evil vapors of that land. Perhaps we can send word to the Grey Havens, tell Cirdan to contact the Valar, get their blessing, perhaps it will enough to guard our passage to Frodo." he said looking at his old comrade. He then looked into the east, the sky above the horizon was devoid of light, the very color that of a pure, oppressive black, with only a few shots of blood red from the spewing fires of Mount Doom.

"I feel uneasy about all this, there is some other force that is waiting, waiting for it's chance to strike. How can we be sure that Sauron will not attack as soon as we leave the borders of this land, how can we assure that we won't be ambushed as soon as we pass through these safe borders?" he said his eyes glowing softly, the pale white color a complete contrast to the dark sky before him.

"Are you sure Frodo has fallen to the Ring? Perhaps he is merely under a magical compulsion. I do not know of anything stronger than the Ring's influence, but perhaps he is merely not in control of his faculties." Jaden wondered what could "possess" such a being as Frodo to be corrupted. As dangerous as the Ring was, hobbits were seen as resilient against enchantments that affected the mind. Could a weaker, but more specialized spell work against such protected creatures as a halfling?

Halmir stood at the edge of the cliff gazing down the rockside to see the mighty white tower, barely rising about the scape of the mountains. He turned nd walked down the rocky slope to his horse Kalmahr which waited for him at the grassy foot of the rocky hill.
His path was to the east. Assured by Lord Elrond himself, that he would encounter the others who set out from Minas Tirith.

Halmir was given word that a small folk was seen along the Ephel Duath mountains. What may have been nothing greater than a whisper in the dark, a trap from the dark lord himself, Halmir had to try. He mounted his horse and wheeled about, he gave Kalmahr a kick light kick and he was off. As he made his way east from Amon Din he came to the great river. He trotted along the riverside searching for the bridge he was told about days ago by the rider he met in Druadan. All the information he was given had to be trusted, he could not risk skepticism in such close proximity to the black lands. He'd heard tales of the first fellowship, and their failure. It was now up to the chosen few who assembled in Minas Tirith to secure the ring. But what force could stand against the will of Sauron, when the ring lie so close to his reach. As he trotted along the riverside his eyes ran along the water. He could see floating corpses of orc and man alike, the battles that took place in Osgiliath were terrible and gruesome, Faramir himself was nearly slain himself in the battle.

What was at once seen as the end of the war, merely acted to spread the disease of war. The sun was shrouded by the darkness Sauron filled the sky with. Orcs could roam freely about, Druadan was fair-teeming with Sauron's forces. Orcs in the masses could be handled, by the prince of shadow, the Witch King, the right hand of Sauron, was what truely filled Halmir with a displeasure in his heart.

OOC: ceremox? three men and an elf, them my Nazgúl joined, ur in the room, and if you read it, you are mentioned when Aragorn is looking around. Please read it all, Ceremo.

He listened to the elf's question "I would wish a blessing of the Valar, but the messenger would arrive too late, and timing is critical. The vapours of Mordor will not affect you for the time you are in there due to Gandalf and Jaden Sieg both using enchantments. Jaden in a local space as a shield and Gandalf as a 'blessing' type which will stay with you for at least a day" he then turned to Elcalion's second statement "Do not speak such words here, the mission must succeed. And there are no ambushes awaiting, we have the Citadel Guard patrolling our route, and reporting half-hourly. Berethor is going to break off and join them when we get to their temporary headquarters" he fihished and sat down, looking out of the window toward the east.

Lartimus ignored the others, only listening to the one almost as darkly minded as himself "Do not trust the tales of the halfings, little is known of them. Even from what I have read. Most of the knowledge on them is stored in the mind of Gandalf, if he remembers it at all, having forgotten even his name after his change" Lartimus paused for a moment, breathing coarsely "And no other enchantments have been placed on the halfling, as the Eagles themselves witnessed the change, and it was no work of magic. It was the work of the ring" he glanced round the room once more, stopping on each of the figures in the room - and then turning at last to the Ranger, Halmir "So, Ranger. You were raised by the Elves. It is said that the Elves write everything in their knowledge, as a force of habit after thousands of years. Do not trust an Elf when he says that no-one will learn of something, as either by his tounge or the tounge of his quill, it will be learnt" he then turned to another topic "Ranger, how long have you stayed in the sanctuary of the Elves, they can turn a man from the path of war" he finnaly asked, returning to his screamy breathing.

OOC: I read through the post and saw my name nowhere to be found. Maybe I missed it, in the future just bold the names, make it much easier than straining my eyes to fish through it. I'll repost in a bit.

OOC: Is there really even a Nazgul in Middle earth named Lartimus, if not I'd really to know why there's a tenth and how he wasn't corrupted by the rings of men.
    IC: Halmir

"So, Ranger.
Halmir turned his gaze to the nazgul with an untrusting look in his eyes, " I am not of elf kin, so trust me should I say something may not be learnt. There are many shadows and stones under which no man, elf or free folk shall ever peer, there are many things that are meant to be lost." Halmir then approached Lartimus, uneasy of his presence, seldom was a Nazgul to be thought of as pleasant let alone an ally.

" I was brought to the refuge of Rivendell when I was no taller than the very halflings we seek. You needn't worry about my taste for war, I dislike it all the same, I only fight to end them quicker. Never should man nor elf see war as a nessecary item" Halmir said as he observed the Nazgul. His robes held the mark of a Numenorian, the first of the great countries. However he also knew of the great falling and the greed that Numenor was felled by. And such a being was to lead the fellowship. "If one is not to trust an elf when they say something can not be learnt, then do not trust one of the Numenor when they say..." Halmir paused. He kept his final words to himself, it was not worth a further effort. He'd be at the accord of the Nazgul for now, however should the Nazgul be shattered again by the ring's malice, Halmir's blade should not be hindered in cutting it the very arm with which he holds it aloft.
