FF:WA LotR at Movies @ Burswood in march

Movies @ Burswood Has FotR showing on those above dates, so we were thinking why not a meet for it?
Big tip, bring a bean bag or similar, Gecko and I just came back from seeing The Matrix there, and I don't suggest lying around on a blanket for all that time...

Takers? and what do we think about doing it in costume?

 

We've got some little chairs that are great for things like that. Some of you might know the type. They're fold-out chairs that sit barely off the ground, so they're comfy without blocking anyone else's view. I think we got them cheap at someplace like K-Mart.
Costumes would be cool. Can't think of where I'd get a decent one though without borrowing one from one of my friends in Grey Company (who I hardly see these days).

On the 16th I have a course thingo, and I dont know what time it finishes

 

I just went to the website and checked the details. To save everyone else the hassle, here's the main details I was looking for.

Start Time: 7:30 PM
Running Time: 178 mins

If it's anything like sunset cinema, bring a blanket. Or even better, bring one of those little chairs with no legs that let you basically sit on the ground with a nice comfy backrest. Since PL & I will be using them, we'll bring our blanket as well for anyone wlse who doesn't have a good one.

I think we should try to do what we did for the TPM screening and get a bunch of tickets to make it cheaper for everyone, and get there early to get a good spot for the group.

 

So is that date and time ok, with everyone ?

 

Looks like it, the time is beyond our control anyway, as there is only one session.

I've got a party to go to that is not far from Burswood. I could go there after the movie.

 

OK I am going to point out the obvious......and multipost this.... the crafternoon AND the commitee meet AND the LOTR screening are all on this day so I think we should sort something out....

Wookie and I were talking about it last night, and we figured that we keep the crafternoon on from midday, and all go to that.... the meet will occur sometime around 4.30-5pm. Then we can all go from there to LOTR..... is right on the train line so we wouldnt even have to worry about transport...

how does that sound to people?

Sounds good, I highly reccomend a firm hand about staying on topic during the meeting though.

 

Currently I know I really only have 2 things to talk about.......so that shouldnt be too hard...
