what pack r u on??? and do u know any other lotr websites???

 

We only just got pack 7 with Aragorn.
Anyway, for other sites do you mean overall or tabletop specific? I don't know of any others besides the one you posted and the official GW site for the game.

 

in england we got aragorn in pack 6. do u have the rulebook? if so could u scan some of the details to me

My mistake, Aragorn was pack 6 here also, pack 7 is the warriors of Rohan.
I don't have the rulebook though, I'm just getting the rules along with the magazines...

I have actually assembled some models !!!!!

I've not painted any ATM only because I want to get some extra paints and brushes and stuff beofre I start, but I am motivated now.

Yay.

Now I just have to organise to get the supplies here...

Well, I can't find the cable for my scanner since the big move, and I can't be bothered typing out all those pages.

But you're in luck!

If you look in the front cover of your magazines, you'll find subscription info for your country, all you have to do is contact the apropriate distributor for your country, and you can get the back issue.

 

Once I get home to Wiluna I'll be ready to start painting. I just bought $85 worth of stuff today so I'm all set to get stuck into it.

First model fully completed !

I must say I'm quite happy with how it turned out, was expecting much worse.

1 down - 60 or so to go.

 

Is anyone still collecting these and if so how is the painting going.

I'm particulary keen to see more work from SM.

 

I'm still collecting! And I've started doing a lot of terrain as well. And it's a real buzz when someone who worked on the miniatures dept for the films compliments my work

Aztec: (and anyone else on a subscription) when you got Eomer with issue 18, and then 3 new paints with issue 19, did his plastic horse come with 19? Mine didn't, I rang up, they sdaid they'd send me another copy, and that one didn't have his horse either...

 

I can't remember what part the horse came with, I don't think anything else came with the pack with the paint though.

 

When I rang them they said it should have come with 19, makes sense as it's the one after Eomer.

Anyway, I suppose I'll find out for sure when it comes. Again.

After a visit to Sith's place I was inspired to actually finish some models, and this time I actually did finish some.

I think I did a pretty good job considering these were basically the first ones I've done (even if it did take me a year to actually get around to finishing them)

I've already started on the next models, Men of Gondor, which should be finished in a couple of days I hope.

 

Not too bad. I bought the fellowship starter box back in the day at tactics. I painted the Fellowship and some Prologue Elves, but I don't know where they are anymore.

I blame Powerwalkers.

If you watch the JFK assasination- you might notice some powerwalkers on the grassy knoll before the shot is fired.

Anyone you know could be a powerwalker, your mother, your grandmother, even your pets.
