Provo LOTR Marathon - 12/08/07, 10 AM!

I'm thinking about hosting an extended edition LOTR marathon sometime in December, possibly around the 6th-8th. Would anyone be interested in joining me?

When: Saturday, Dec 8, 2007, 10 AM or thereabouts
What: LOTR marathon!
Where: Dana's place (PM for directions or if you need a ride)

Bring treats if you so desire! If you're allergic to cats, though . . . I've got two. But they're mistrustful of strangers and will likely hide.

Well, the 7th is my b'day, so as long as it's not going to be a one movie/day sort of thing, I'm willing to come. Maybe my wife will let me bring Glamdring

 

No, I'm thinking all three films in one day. With breaks between for walking around and the restoring of feeling in the legs and such.

 

Rofl, yes, restoring feeling in the legs would be a good thing! I can't do it on the 7th or the 17th because of concerts, but would do it pretty much any other day.

 

It'd have to be the 8th for me, but I'm interested.

Yeah, about that long. The one other time I ever did this, we also watched The Hobbit, but I'm not going to even contemplate that.

 

the 8th sounds good for me too. what start time are we talking about, 8am...9am?

 

I'd prefer not that early, actually. Of course, it depends on how long people can stay; I'm fine with the trilogy ending around midnight or a little later, but that's me.

Well, you're the one person without a curfew as to when guys can come over.

 

What about this being our FanForce activity for Nov/Dec? It's certainly long enough to count as several activities.

That could work, I have no problem with it being the activity. And I'm certainly not expecting everyone to be able to stay for the whole thing, that's at least 12 hours. But my parents will be gone and we'll have the house to ourselves, we can fix food, watch on the big TV (well, it's not a BIG TV, but I think it's larger than the one at Ish's) . . .

Yeah, pretty much anything's bigger than the TV at our place.

 

LOL mine's a 13". I guess we have a bigger one in the living room that's about the same size as yours, true...

I would be extremely interested in attending. I hope I can go, but I may be busy. I'll have to find out if any plans are finalized. Fingers crossed...
