Aww, I'd go but it would take me two movies to get there. :p

Aw... [face_blush] Thanks Moffy Darlin' :)
    hehe

And Krash--maybe we can arrange to get me the ticket before that. Besides, I owe you money for it anyways. ;)

OK, links don't like me, at least long ones because I can't make a link of it. Cut and paste this and see if it works.

Evidently they sold out faster than they thought they would. So how much would it take for you to sell your ticket for on ebay?

Makes me think I'd better pick my ticket up sooner rather than later.

Malo-Ha, yes...I would get your ticket as soon as possible! I haven't heard if Valleyview has sold out yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Valley View has been sold out for days. Try and buy a ticket online and you'll see. ;)

I *might* have one extra ticket. Waiting to see if a friend is able to get off of work. If he can't, I still have a couple of back-up people. If they all fall through, I'll post here and see if anyone wants it.

Since I've already paid for my ticket I'm not as concerned about being bumped. Its already appeared on my credit card statement so I better not have a problem. But I do think I will go over soon and pick up the actual ticket, less to worry about.

I'm usually not one of the people who get a ticket in time for these things. Thank you to everyone who was posting information here so I was able to buy my ticket in time.

Any way of finding out how many theaters Valley View will be showing the trilogy in? I'm just trying to estimate what kind of crowd will be waiting.

Malo-Ha, I'd pick up that ticket ASAP...better to have it in hand (that's why I went to the box office) then show up and be told "we're sorry

I eat wild Fandangos for breakfast!!!

I picked up my ticket last night on the way home so I don't have to worry about it any more.

btw Krash I was quite serious about showing up with lunch on the 16th for whomever was holding place in line.

How early were you going to get there?

    :p

Even if I did have finals that week, I don't think that I even have one on Tuesday. :p

Some of us had more then our share of finals...and get to finally enjoy a day off now and then!

I know I'm asking for trouble with this...but is anyone considering dressing up for this? Kim's gotta Galadrial costume...Emily may change into her Arwen costume (after her concert)And I have this sudden urge to start piecing together a Gandolf the White costume! Anyone interested???

I better not be the only one dressing up this time...last time at the soccer game I kind of stood out A LOT!!! Hopefully I won't have to go to the concert that day or it is kind of pointless for me to go. :(

only one dressing up this time
Aside from the bath robe (it's been "lost") what's wrong with my jedi costume?

I'm starting to look around for parts for a Gandolf costume...I can't wait to bring my walking stick (Medieval Faire) into Cinemark, and watch someone try and take it away:
You wouldn't deprive an old man of his walking stick would you?

    Skye sobs quietly into tissue.
I want to go but due to my schedule, I can't! :_| I could dress up as Eowyn although I'd have to wear a wig because I'm a brunette with short hair.

It shouldn't be as difficult (this time of year) to find a white wig and beard!

Costuming update: Emily has found a wig for her Arwen costume...needs some braiding and other girl stuff, but it looks good.

I've got the makings of a decent Gandolf the Grey costume. I could have just bought the packaged LOTR costume (but where is the fun in that?)

And before Don even thinks of anything smart to add...the infamous bathrobe has been "retired" (packed away upstairs)

And before Don even thinks of anything smart to add. Has that ever really happened? I thought that it was just a myth or something.
