Evidently they sold out faster than they thought they would. So how much would it take for you to sell your ticket for on ebay?

Makes me think I'd better pick my ticket up sooner rather than later.

 

Malo-Ha, yes...I would get your ticket as soon as possible! I haven't heard if Valleyview has sold out yet, but it's only a matter of time.

 

Valley View has been sold out for days. Try and buy a ticket online and you'll see.

I *might* have one extra ticket. Waiting to see if a friend is able to get off of work. If he can't, I still have a couple of back-up people. If they all fall through, I'll post here and see if anyone wants it.

 

Since I've already paid for my ticket I'm not as concerned about being bumped. Its already appeared on my credit card statement so I better not have a problem. But I do think I will go over soon and pick up the actual ticket, less to worry about.

I'm usually not one of the people who get a ticket in time for these things. Thank you to everyone who was posting information here so I was able to buy my ticket in time.

Any way of finding out how many theaters Valley View will be showing the trilogy in? I'm just trying to estimate what kind of crowd will be waiting.

I know I'm asking for trouble with this...but is anyone considering dressing up for this? Kim's gotta Galadrial costume...Emily may change into her Arwen costume (after her concert)And I have this sudden urge to start piecing together a Gandolf the White costume! Anyone interested???

Aside from the bath robe (it's been "lost") what's wrong with my jedi costume?

I'm starting to look around for parts for a Gandolf costume...I can't wait to bring my walking stick (Medieval Faire) into Cinemark, and watch someone try and take it away:

I want to go but due to my schedule, I can't! I could dress up as Eowyn although I'd have to wear a wig because I'm a brunette with short hair.

 

It shouldn't be as difficult (this time of year) to find a white wig and beard!

 

Costuming update: Emily has found a wig for her Arwen costume...needs some braiding and other girl stuff, but it looks good.

I've got the makings of a decent Gandolf the Grey costume. I could have just bought the packaged LOTR costume (but where is the fun in that?)

And before Don even thinks of anything smart to add...the infamous bathrobe has been "retired" (packed away upstairs)
