It sounds truly dire. //imagines Boromir singing and tapdancing... I want to be in Gon-dooooor, I want to be in Gon-doooooor...etc

Sam with Sting in Shelob's tunnel; 'dancing' with Shelob (i.e. man in spider suit) Sam, be a hero to-niiiiiiight! Sam, be a hero to-niiiiiight! Do it for Frodo and the Hobbits... and all the other races...
To the tune of Penny Lane... In Rivendale there is an elf and he's called Elrond, He summons everyone to his meeting, How will they destroy the ring? That's the thing. So let's sing.... Rivendale is in my ears and in my eyes...
Pippin was singing was he? Eowyn on the battlements...: Helms Deep is alive... with the sound of orcs Foul songs they sing... astride their war wargs Helms Deep fills my heart with the sounds of sorrow We have hope, but even now... that feels hollow...
I read about that in the paper yesterday... They're searching for a Frodo just now. Think I'll just stick with the films...
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but couldn't £20M take several African countries out of debt, feed millions of starving families and create decent medical treatment for 3rd World nations? And we spend it on our sociological super-ego
The whole idea slightly disturbs me,I hope it will never happen! Though I heard Hugh Jackman might play Aragorn in it,might be worth seeing it if only for that!
Talk about cheapening it -It's the belly talking which annoys me in the films [although it doesn't annoy me enough to think of them as anyless than fantastic ] and this kind of talking is a trademark of theatre!
I'm just in suspense for the up and coming theatre production of SADAM! The Musical... aparantly they're using authentic mustard gas!
Y'know, they didn't want Disney to make the animated LOTR film, because it would be all cheesy and cutesy and there would be musical numbers! Now they're doing worse than Disney........A STAGE MUSICAL! I think our society just reached a brand new low!
