Sac, CA LOTR: Return of the King

ROTK opens December 17th (same day as the Coats for Kids Blitz). Would any of you be interested in possibly seeing it either that morning or the next day, or the day after??? Let me know what you think so we can invade some unsuspecting greater Sacramento area theater.

If you see one movie this year, then you need to see Return of the King!

I just got back from the media showing. Oooooooh my lord did that rock!

Don't wait until it comes out on video, see it in the theater.

This is hands down the best movie I have ever seen in my life. Sorry Star Wars......there's a new king.

Just got back...and all I can say is wow...just wow.

the only problem was the sound system kept bugging out. but I got three free passes for my trouble so all is well.

 

I want to go see it tomorrow sometime during the day. Anyone free to go with me???

Its probably a bit of late notice, but Im going to see it this afternoon and youre welcome to join me Tionnehawk. My only wish is that I could have time to watch the first two consecutively right before I go to see rotk. Oh well, I had to beg my friend to drop me off there since my sister has the car, and beggers cant be choosers...

I got free passes for the Brendan in Vacaville.

but I would gladly pay to see it in Davis tonight. if anyone's up for it let me know I don't get off work until 5:00 today though.

I liked the second one better! They had some really poor special FX shots that just bugged the heck out of me, and the ending was dragged out to long for a movie.

I dunno...I loved this one. Very true to the books, as all 3 are. I'm ready to go see it again.

 

what's up everybody, i haven't been in here in a while (prob. since ep. 2) because of LOTR. Plus GL is busy! But I just wanted to say that ROTK is mesmorizing. I saw it today and had to pick my jaw off the ground after the credits rolled. Other than SW, the LOTR trilogy is the only set of movies that has truely taken me to another place. With Ep. 3 on the horizon, the future's looking bright (or dark) depending on which side of the force you're on!

 

Thanks for joining me in the movie experience! (You know who you are!) I hate going to movies alone, especially ones that Im really looking forward to, like ROTK. It was impressive...MOST impressive! HAHA! Cant wait to meet the rest of the cooky star wars nuts - You know who you are!
