CT Love to Aunt Beru: You had to be high

I can see Aunt Beru not so much loving the miserable old fart Owen. There is a glimmer of fascination when she mentions that Luke has too much his father in him. Maybe she thinks back to Anikin and how he studly killed an entire village of Sand People.

I picture her coming in from the early morning after milking a Bantha only to hear Owen's ungracious grumbling about evaporators and crops. I would think when he has left for the fields, she would sit back and light up a Death Stick, "****w that a**hole."

Yeah, I doubt she'd want to marry a loose cannon like Anakin. If I were her, I'd take the grumbling Owen over the whiny 'I-will-dice-up-a-Tusken-village' Anakin any day.

 

I think somebody had to be high when they started this thread….

We've all seen enough of the male population of Tatooine to know that from Beru's perspective, Owen Lars was a pretty decent catch. Dashing and romantic are nice, but they don't put blue milk on the table, ya dig?
