If you still want to enlist, can't you at least fly a desk?

Don't! I would imagine most civilians wouldn't know what I was talking about. I'll be careful about that from now on. Civvy-speak only. :)

Well, I`d rather be with the army, as per my cadet training.

A desk job might not be bad, but I`d like to actually DO something...I`m sure you understand

Oh, perfectly. Desk jobs help the country too, but you want to take an active role in promoting peace and Canada's interests abroad, right?

That or you just want to shoot things. LOL

Writing? I just checked that for you. Nothing really jumped out at me, but there are a number of jobs in all 3 elements (Army, Navy, Air Force) that are clerical in nature. Planning, written communications, and similar jobs might also be of interest for you. I suggest checking out the Canadian Forces recruiting page. If you're interested in a job in the Canadian Forces, it's well worth a look. You'll get info on any and all jobs in the CF.

EDIT: If you just want to shoot things, we're always in need of Infantry. WARNING: that occupation is more or less designed for people with not a lot of intelligence but a strong build. Smart people become technitions like me. Higher pay, and it's safer.

I found that ironic as well.

I want to learn about the Force and become a technician like my father,

Um...I know the topic kinda turned military, but I do have a definition of love for you. According to the Greek, there are 3...

Phileo - affectionate love or friendship

Eros - emotional love and sexuality

    Agape - Unconditional love

The third one is absolute love, where you love someone no matter what. Eros is obviously the love between man and woman, but in marriage agape should also be there. Agape love is the hardest to truly have, because it represents God's love for us.

That is the best way to describe love in a way we can understand, I believe. Also, you can see that love doesn't just mean intimate love between man and woman. I hope I'm not being confusing...but I would love to talk some more of it.

Hey, no prob for the post - I enjoyed it.

You know, Ian_Ball, the trailers are awesome, but you should've stayed for the movie. I can understand you leaving for Harry Potter though, because not everyone likes fantasy.

Speaking of which, Lord of the Rings is going to be awesome! There are so many good movies coming out this Christmas, it's exciting!

Absolutely! I am really excited for LotR, but you can ask my roommate how insane I've been getting off and on about Attack of the Clones!
