Sadly herr Plunkett did not get the memo that Mazzic was myke but thankfully herr Biukovic got it right

 

Which is especially odd because the novels actually mention that Mazzic and Shada are human.

 

the way I remeber it was that it just did not mention that Mazzic was not ("pure-stock") human, and is Shada not human in the comic?

 

Not unless she put on some really odd make up and Mazzic only shows up with an Alien look in the Comic, the novel simply describes him as a human, as do the Sourcebooks he is mentioned and show in.

I'm pretty sure that's concept art from ROTJ.

 

TBH I loved seeing the various bits of concept art used in the WEG books the way they were. I bet the game creators were drooling over such treasures.

 

It was, I think, but the early WEG sourcebooks repurposed a lot of concept art and spun it out into new vehicles and the like.

 

Oh yes, the Star Wars Sourcebook (as well as the Imperial Sourcebook) has quite a lot of it.

 

I like that the Darksaber is listed as "coming soon".

I await the angry one-star reviews on the GFFA equivalent of Amazon.

Are you certain he is described as human in the book? Because I am rather certain that he is not referred to as human, we just presume he is human since he is not referred to as a non-human and has a human as arm-candy/bodyguard

It is a misprint, it is suppose to stand: near-human, since the myck race was not named until 1999, but the proof-reader/s missed that mistake. The illustrators was not informed about this mistake and made him ("pure-stock") human

 

Man I miss hand drawn SW illustration. The good stuff annihilates its digital counterparts.

 

Yes especially since the TT comics are from 95-96 and Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina already made clear she is supoosed to be one of the human extras in the cantina. but then the TT comics have all kinds of oddities in that regard. Like Navy Troopers instead of Army Troopers, no beard on Pellaeon or one of the VicStars turning into an ImpStar.

His should length black hair is mentioned at least also yep the others are made clear to be non humans if they are not human.

Gamer is from 2001 imho it is rather clear the comic just happened to mess up here.

I think we have talked above each other, when I asked "Do you mean her eyes, skin or hair?" I meant (more or less): what do you find un-baseline-human with her design? And with the disguise comment I meant why she did not look weary much like her movie appearance
