I'd be willing to do a joint thing on the boards like neo is suggesting if the AVI would open on my Mac. Maybe I need to go get Windows Media Player again. If something gets going, I'm up for doing the compositing.

since part of the c lip isnt green screened, would one have to go through the clip and color the outsides green? could you do that in ae?

What'd you use to key that out? I'm a n00b to keying/compositing in anything but photoshop (and there 1/2 the time i use "magic wand"). I've tried, got it close, but so far everything looks horrible IMO.

I don't know why but people keep asking me for advice on how to do things I did badly... I did it with Blender, but it's not a great key. Notice there's a chunk missing from his foot in this frame.

 

I think the more ridiculous this looks, the better.

ya i saw that last night on tv i was suprised. im almost finished with mine, yay. mine is at geonosis with about 35 seconds of film. i hope lucas wouldnt be upset >.<
