Was anybody in Theater #17? I was in 14, and they were running one film through at 3 projectors at 10 minute intervals or so (that's why the were playing it one 7 screens!). There were problems with the film at midnight and we didn't start till about 1am, sheesh.

Then, right when the credits started the film stopped. As I'm walking out there's a crowd standing around 17's entrance and someone saying they can get a refund. Apparently the film burned up on them at the last scene. Ours would've burned up at the credits too but the bulb on the projector shut off in time.

I went to the 930 PM show opening night.

There was a screening a couple of shows before mine in which the film broke in the last 3 minutes of the movie.

I'm glad I wasn't there when it happened.

    I would've rioted.

Aside from your disasterous experience Shaun, I think the midnight showing went great. I had so much fun! Can't wait till 2005.

I'm going to try and go spoiler free for 2005 (as painful as it may be).
