Luke and Leia's relatives on Naboo ?

I think it would be too long and not too climatic to have a full blown novel about Luke and Leia visiting Naboo.

 

Hold the tax bytes. Regarding the mother search of Black Fleet . . . it was the journey, not the ending, that mattered. How many of you, honestly, weren't eager to see who this mum/mom was?

The only termite of the Luke story arc was its sheer actionless boredom.

 

Well I think it goes without saying that there'd be a plot also.

 

Yeah I guess it would make a good B plot.

I just don't understand why Luke and Leia wouldn't want to visit and meet their first cousins, Aunts and Uncles and possibly their grand parents.

I'm surprised that not one EV author hasn't jumped on the oportunity to write a story about this.

 

They'd probably make it about them all being Sith Lords.

 

Maybe that is off limits for now, or there are several authors in the running for that storyline and Lucas hasn't approved one yet.

I think I'm more interested in the fate of the japor snippet than any of Padmé's family. Honestly, I didn't care all that much about the characters from the AOTC novel. That's one piece of AOTC that I'm glad stayed on the cutting room floor.

Now we should get a novel following the journey of the japor snippet. Gungan tomb raiders recover it and sell it on the black market, whereupon it's purchased by the Squibs, who bump into Han and Leia again for some reason, who are stranded on Antar IV....
