    Hi,

I'm new here and I need info on making a costume for a baby. My son will be 9 months old for Halloween and we're planning to do Star Wars this year. Baby will be Luke, my 4 yr old daughter will be Leia, I will be Padme and my husband wants to be Vader but will settle for Anakin. LOL He also wants to go to Celebration 3 next year so we want the costumes to look good. We plan to use the costumes for the 3 older people at C3, but I will have to make a new one for the baby since he will likely have outgrown his Halloween costume by then.

Anyway, we were thinking of doing Luke's costume from Star Wars but I'm not sure where to start. Any suggestions? I'm guessing he will be in a 12 months size by then.

    Thanks in advance,
    Christina

Go to a martial arts supply store. Believe it or not, they make uniforms in infant sizes. The Gi top is perfect as is. Dye the pants a light brown. You're done. Gi will probablly only cost ~ $20 or less.
Boots, dye, belt--I'm sure there are simple things you can do for that.
    Good luck.
