Well, I'm sure some people could find a door knob really attractive and want to make sweet love to it all night long, that doesn't mean your genes are telling you to do that.

Again, some people can override what they may find attractive, but that takes effort. Attraction to door knobs it's not something that's intrinsically there, its learned. Attraction to average human faces however...

The study doesn't prove it's in the DNA either. The article itself mentions it could be something picked up during infancy unless the e sound in Peep is also genetic. Human sexuality and how it relates to Genetics and Environment is still a field that is just beginning to provide answers and has a lot of questions remaining.

How much choice in who we find attractive is something that's still completely unknown.

And yet there are folks who would profess to be attracted to both.

Exactly why they are is still a mystery.

I'm not sure how to approach this tastefully. I think its entirely possible that the two of them could have shared a pleasing sexual relationship between the two of them without in any way finding the other's faces to be anything remotely arousing. Instead, its a matter of the two fo them wanting to pleasure the other because they're friends and both lonely for sexual companionship.
