?

How strong do you feel Luke be as a Jedi Master after 30 years of studying the force?

Palps didn't even want Luke alive initially. He wanted him dead in TESB. Vader had to convince him of turning the boy.

Any reason why some of you call Sidious for Palpatine ? That was a alias he was forced to use up until he became Emperor. Not like Vader called him Palpatine or anyone else.
Palpatine was a kid until Plagueis named him Darth Sidious. From that moment Palpatine was no more. Not like after that Sidious was all skitzo i'm both yeah.......
So no lets stay true to canon and remember Yoda quote in episode III:
Yes i'm a canon purist deal with it ! ^^

Because it doesn't make much of a difference. Palpatine was already evil before he got sithified, he didn't undergo much of a character change. He was still essentially the same jerk he was before, just with darkside powers.

People don't call Dooku Tyrannous. It makes no difference you're not being a canon "purist".

    Luke never knew Padme though.

I hope Luke didn't pick up much of anything from Padme's genetics... ugh. Such a weak specimen. "She's lost the will to live."

    Pfft.

After EpVII, should Luke survive (hopefully!!!), Hamill (or anyone, really, but funnier with Hamill) should do a FunnyOrDie skit where they act out a supposed scene from "Episode VIII", showing one of the heroes from VII supposedly turning evil or whatever (or maybe even some EXTREMELY minor setback, like their flight to Coruscant got delayed), and Luke just loses the will to live. R2 & 3PO could convey that part of it, maybe, while Luke himself, still looking healthy & all at 60-something, is basically acting out Yoda's part in ROTJ mixed with Padme's weak ROTS dialogue, while someone (or a few people, including Ghost Obi-Wan or Yoda) tries to snap him out of that weird depressed funk thru various means, chiding him for taking after his mother, etc. Could be a lot of fun.
