FF:NZ Luke's Dreamy! (as are Hayden, Ewan, Wedge, and Legolas) (was Star Wars music special on concertFM)

They are playing John Williams music on Concert FM (Auck - 92.6fm) every day this week from 9am-10am. Friday morning is a star wars special. I don't know what the chances are of them playing the love theme from Attack of the Clones ... I know it was to be released as a single, but I thought it wasn't until the 23rd.

I can't wait for that soundtrack!

Little did we know that such a simple topic could stray so far ...

 

Tuned in this morning and heard songs from Jurrasic Park, Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan. SL was cool! Can't wait for tommorow! Guess I'll have to NOT listen in Bio 107.

 

I forgot to set my alarm and woke up this morning at 11am.
If they played Across the Stars I will be annoyed.
good thing=I've missed my classes so there is no point going into uni.

 

I'm not sure if they played Across the Stars--but they did play one, or maybe it was two tracks from AOTC! I didn't recognize it until the bit that's in the trailer came up. That was totally worth skipping bio for.

 

I have a feeling the trailers were made prior to the AOTC score, so you possibly just heard some recycled older bits of Star Wars scores.

I know Sony Music NZ hasn't got the soundtrack or "across the stars" (single or video) as yet...

I can't wait for this soundtrack. I'm sick of listening to bootleg mp3s. I want the real thing!

 

jp: As I don't have all the OT soundtracks, are you saying that all the music in the trailers are recycled?

 

Yes. Er...there's Leia's Theme, Duel of the Fates, Clash of the Lightsabers, Pit of Carkoon, Forest Battle, Rescue from Cloud City. Also a couple of blasts from previous music in the Breathing trailer, although I can't remember which tracks they are exactly.

All of the music in the trailers is recycled, although a couple of themes used return as cues in the AOTC soundtrack.

 

Notes to look here more often and sebby that icon is just unforgetable lol
