Luke's green lighsaber: Was it created in Obiwan's hut?

    One inconcistency in ROTJ is when Vader hands over Luke's lightsaber to the emperor. The emperor says something like "ah the weapon of a jedi. Much like your father's."

    Why would the emperor say "much like your father's" when it's obvious that it was built in the likeness off Obi Wan's?

    Also, I thought only Sith used synthetic crystals. I thought Jedi used natural crystals and Sith forged their crystals using the hatred in their hearts. Am I wrong in this?

    Hm, I never noticed the similarities with bi-Wan's Lightsaber and Lukes. And I am sure the Sith use their own made Cyrstals. Though I would need to research it more before I can tell you for sure.
