Luke's Jacket from Ep4

    the ceremonial jacket worn,

    has anyone made this or have a pattern for it?

    If you are able to find one of the Simplicity Civil War costume patterns, it might be a good base for the jacket--but with heavy modifications.
    That's the pattern that I used for Han ESB

    The original was made from a popular racing jacket at the time. Greedo, Ponda Baba, Biggs, and the snowspeeder pilots all wear them. Not too many reference pics, especially for the back. The most info I've seen is here:

    what is the name or material for those racing jackets?

    Does anyone know?

    Come one guys :) I thought this was a "Costuming" board!

    The jackets were nylon.

    As far as I can tell they were only sold in England, in the 70's. No idea on who the original manufacturer is/was.

    We are breaking ground here :)

    How would you go about replicating the shoulder and arm parts, the "bumps"?

    Come on UK costumers, let's here it, what say you!
