Heart wrenching guilt and the urge to get sick I expect. I wonder if they could sense the Inquisitor about to kill them? If he favors sneak attacks that is.

 

The weird thing was I didn't notice Luminara at first so when people said be warned there's a big spoiler in the clip I was confused because I didn't notice it so I was wondering what the spoiler was? At first I thought it was the name of Kanan's master but we already knew that it was only until someone posted a picture of it I noticed it and just went "Oh my god" that's horrifying and then I went back and watched the clip and noticed it. Creepy stuff. Especially what they did with the eyes.

If you look in the Rebels Spoiler thread, it should be a few pages back from where the page number is now.

 

If it happens this way, it will also be a good thing as the events of the 3d Clone Wars series can be justifiably retconned in order to restore as much, if not all, of what I & many others consider the true canon (i.e. EVERYTHING before the 3d series which, looking back, I consider was the death of Star Wars despite having liked the Rebels "Spark of Rebellion" premiere) since if it were up to me, I would keep Ahsoka in the true canon & have her as Anakin's padawan after her particular master was killed but ONLY for a few missions before she's assigned a new master. Me personally, I would still keep the 3d Clone Wars series but rather relegate it to being an in-universe production instead of actual canon.

I just hope Luminara is a hologram & is really dead though but since Depa Billabas lightsaber style is now 3 instead of 7, I am worried that this will not be the case.

Wow that whole thing with Luminara is ten times more creepy and unnerving than any of the stuff The Clone Wars has shown. For example, TCW's Massacre episode had some scary moments and yet the undead zombie night-sisters looked rather cartoonish when compared to Luminara's mummified, greenish, eyeless, has no nose face.

I'm glad that Rebels is willing to show something that dark and unnerving. However, I just have to say: poor Ezra. I mean this kid is only fourteen and he ends up seeing that? Just wow. I mean Ahsoka never saw anything like that onscreen during the Clone Wars season 1 episodes. The stuff with the brain worms didn't happen until the second season whereas Ezra stumbles across a mummified corpse very early in this show.

I did just now though I also saw the clip earlier of Kanan's duel with the Inquisitor but I just assumed it was a statue instead of Luminara.

Yeah. It does kind of look like one. I wonder how many Jedi had the same fate as Luminara. In terms of getting mumified, I mean.

Looks to me like she just has her eyes closed. The nose, however, is definitely not there.

Yeah but considering she's a mummy those sockets are probably empty. She's more or less just skin and bones.

I guess were lucky nothing is...decomposing anymore her face. Unless it's the parts we can't see.
