It is something I was thinking of starting as a game, where everyone makes a sock, and after two months, guess to see who everyone is a a meet or something? So you have to fool people into thinking you are someone you are not.....

The idea of a sock only thread seems a little strange since most people want their socks to stay anonymous but I can't see a problem with the idea. I never mind socks as long as people just have fun with them and don't use them to hide behind while they cause trouble.

 

I think what Soup was suggesting, was everyone who wants to be involved registers a new sock, we have a month long masqerade ball/thread of sorts, then we have a meet, in person, where we all try and figure out who was who,

Anytime Mutley, there are a large number of fans of that show on these forums, and I think we do forget that not everyone will get the quotes from time to time

 

Don't feel left out. I'm a Simpsons fan myself but I don't watch it as much as I used to so I missed the quote too.
