Both of these are gorgeous, but I personally like QueenDorme's more. I tried singing to starwarsgirl's but I often found that there were too many or not enough syllables. Great work for both of you guys!

Hey umm...would it be possible at all to create lyrics for the Imperial March?

The first few lines might be tricky!

    =K=

Or how 'bout lyrics for the Superman Love Theme? That would be great!

Okay... here is the Imperial March. It'll get you started ;)

Fierce and strong while a war rages on.
We fight strong ?til the rebels are gone.
Hail to the man who will lead us in war,
For the battle lines are drawn,
    And our vict?ry has dawned.
We wait the day that the victory is near,
    And our Emperor is here,
For we march proud and strong.

    Our Emp?ror,
    A leader,
A man who leads us nearer
    To victory
    True power
Be one who dares to fear us

    Strong blasters
    Tough armour
    Protect us from invaders
    The starfleet
    The Dark Lord
A force that can?t be reckoned

Loyal and brave to an Emperor we pledge.
We fight strong for the Empire we long.
We march strong on the battle fields we roam.
    For our galaxy is strong,
    And our enemy is gone.

Proud and strong we will march all day long.
Fight for the end that our Emp?ror has sworn.
Hail to the leader who?ll lead us in war,
For the battle lines are drawn,
    And our vict?ry has dawned.
We wait the day that the victory is near,
    And our Emperor is here,
For we march proud and strong.

This is just sooo cute! The only problem is that it would be cool if we could somehow add rhythm to it. There were a couple of spots that I wasn't real sure how to do. But other than that, it was just too cute!

Hmmm...lyrics to the Imperial March just seem campy. Perhaps formless Gregorian chanting/singing, but definitely not lyrics. But then again, we've got the Emperor's theme for that.

For Across the Stars songs, a good singer would be the person who did the Soprano stuff in "Confrontation with Count Dooku", playing when he lands and talks with Sidious. Or, also the woman who did the ending song for A Beautiful Mind.

Perhaps formless Gregorian chanting/singing, but definitely not lyrics.

Don't make the lyrics flow. Keep it short and sweet.

If anyone has heard "The Morning of the Dragon" from Miss Saigon, you will have an idea of how I approached the lyrics. :)
