Mace, Decapitation, and Jango

Since when is it logical to take a prisoner, one as skilled as Jango, when you are surronded by thousands of droids and a kick arse old jedi?

It was the middle of a fight and it was just another kill, im sure it would have been a better fight if Jangos jetpack worked though.

Oh, and im pretty sure he knew who Jango was, Remember the message Obi-wan sent? Im sure he put 2+2 together and relized it was Jango.Besides hes a jedi he might be able to have sensed it was Jango.Also you can tell by the way Mace looks at him after he kills him.

 

it just couldnt happen:

1. because the story required it
2. because without it happening there would be no boba fett bounty hunter
3. because even if he had been captured he wouldnt say a darn thing.....big bad bounty hunter never would crack under the pressure and he had such a strong will and strong mind no jedi influence or mind trick would work.

Oh, only the information that dooku & tyranus were the same person, therefore dooku paid for the clones, therefore the clone war is a sham, therefore millions of lives could be saved...

into the vent shaft on Naboo,they would have solved
the mystery of the Sith in the Phantom Menace

With that many Jedi surely one of them could have
made him rat out Sidious.

They are in war. You didnt see marines shooting germans in the leg in the middle of treches

 

I know this is a movie thread, but if you read Shatterpoint it states Jango is one of the most dangerous men in the galaxy and could kill him in a second, and Mace knew it. He also see's him to be a threat because just moments before he had shot and killed another jedi (can't remember his name) off the bacony in front of Dooku.

And how many of you expected Jango to get his head cut off, i know i didnt! It helped add to the excitement of the battle.

 

Yeah it was that hadrosaurus guy,who was a Jedi Council member too.
At least he was when Obi-Wan and Anakin went before
them,prior to their being sent on their missions.
