Lit Mace Windu ALIVE!!!...according to Samuel L. Jackson anyway

For some reason, I always assumed that Mace would be brought back in a story between ROTS and ANH eventually. After bringing Maul back, I certainly wouldn't wonder how Mace managed to survive and I wouldn't object either.

 

As far as I'm concerned the only business Mace would have in the ST is as an antagonist.

I'm cool with him coming back, moreso for the purple lightsaber, to be fair.

 

Episode XI's end credits will be followed by drop to Mace's hand and lightsaber floating through space. It's like poetry.

 

Truthfully I always thought a crazy/dark side Mace would be the big bad/target in 1313. If he did servive I could imagen him starting his own rebel cell or taking over the gangs down there and become a major paine in the back side for palpatine.
It would also make for a brilliant revenge story for boba as well.

 

Said it before, I'll say it again. Mayor of Sernpidal.

 

He can come back in a spinoff set before his death.

He really wasn't that interesting of a character.

 

A comment about Mace Windu now, or Darth Maul ten years ago?

 

Would defantly like to see a live action clone wars moive with mace especially if they took inspiration from Shatterpoint.

Yeah, wouldn't mind seeing a spin off movie with Mace. Also would like to see him in action more, especially utilizing Vaapad. He's considered one of the greatest lightsaber duelists in the galaxy in the PT era, and we rarely got to see him fight!

 

Mace's lightsaber wouldn't float in space. Maz Kanata has it. She connects lightsabers of all famous Jedi and Sith--basically the most prominent lightsaber collector in the galaxy since General Grievous.

I thought everyone agreed now that the Mayor of Sernpidal was really Lor San Tekka...?

Oh sorry. I was referring to the original version of the film leaked by MSW.

 

1) legit movie: Mace is alive, living as a Jedi Batman in the lower levels of Courscant, fighting crime one street at a time, embittered and mostly mad by the fall of the Republic, and the Boba Fett movie is about Fett seeking revenge and taking him out. (sort of a Heart of Darkness / Apocalypse Now / Shatterpoint but give all the good crazy ranting for Samuel L. Jackson)

2) cameo: Poe, Finn and Rey are running through the lower levels of Courscant and bump over a hobo's pile of hobo stuff, which makes the elderly one handed old hobo played by Samuel L. Jackson incredibly irate.

 

So we won't see him in the third season of Star Wars Rebels giving them someone other than Kanan to kill off so he can at some point help look after Ezra's daughter Rey when Ezra leaves her with Kanan as he goes off to rescue Zare Leonis's son Finn?

And yes that is pure speculation, still would be nice if Maul gets his backside handed to him by a Jedi Master though!!!
