Its a 2-way street here. Everyone is allowed to have their own crackpot theories if they want to. If you can't make simple honest discussion about it....don't post.

The Thread Title is Called "mace windu is the jedi traitor. proof here!"

There is no proof. We are making a simple Honest Discussion about it. While it is still possible he is a Traitor, we've shown more proof that he isn't than you have that he is.

    Mace is not bad

He has done nothing that isn't noble or his own opinion .......

He saved Obiwan,Anakin and Padme from death and kill Jango.

He will go out a hero and a badass

....unless the script calls for him to betray the Jedi. Then he will die a deceitful badass.

doesn't seem so farfetched to me, although it is circumstancial evidence and not proof beyond a reasonable doubt. in other words, more likely than not.
if this is the case, i'm sure mace thinks he's working for the good of the republic and the jedi order and not simply power hungry or vying for a sith apprenticeship.

and what's with that look windu gives jango after he decapitates him? it looks like a double-take, like "wow, his head sure came off easily."

I think it was because he had to take the life of such a powerful man, and he's a Jedi, and therefore does not enjoy killing.

I agree with Sapient. Really people, there's nothing to discuss. Mace isn't a traitor, end of story.

You also forgot that it was Mace who spoke on Dookus behalf so strongly. He must be a badguy or Padme is more clairvoyant than any Jedi. Why does she know Dookus a villan but the rest of the Council, who have delt with him on a personal level, do not?

Anyway. If he did turn out to be a badguy I would hangup my saber and deem Lucas finished as a writer. And dont worry yourselves about SyfocameronDias. In the PTs new style of vagueness, we will hear nothing else of this person.

MACES THE BAD GUY TRUST ME..

even dooku tells him to his face.."worth recognition in the jedi archives" he knows that he erased them..

let me ask you this remember when mace says this..

"we must tell the senate our ability to use the force has diminished"

and then yoda says.."only a sith would know of our weakness"

well who did just say the jedi had a weakness? mace..making him? a sith..

    its all common logic.

Mace is no traitor. No way whatsoever. He was willing to die for the Jedi on Geonosis.

    There's something to this.
I sense something...a presence I've not felt since...

I'll concede that the POSSIBILITY exists based on what we have seen in the movies and what Homeless points out, but in my heart Mace will not be a traitor. I pray I am not wrong.

No, it was because Dooku erased them, probably. Dooku said it as a slap in the face because Dooku knows about them being erased (probably having done it himself).

"we must tell the senate our ability to use the force has diminished"

and then yoda says.."only a sith would know of our weakness"

well who did just say the jedi had a weakness? mace..making him? a sith..

The Jedi should know of their own weakness.

My apologies. It's just that half a year later he hasn't even bothered to modify his proof in the slightest to address our criticisms. And it's usually not considered productive to simply repost old things if there's nothign new to add.

That said, it won't happen again.

You ask for much, young one.

I doubt Mace is a badguy for one reason. His hold over Lucas. Sam is happy to be in the films and part of his joy is that not only is he a good guy, but he is head of the Jedi council. He would be disapointed im sure if Lucas came at him sideways like that, asking him to be betrayed as Jedi traitor. He would have to punk Lucas out again like when he asked Lucas could he destroy every fans thoughts of a saber color code. Lucas would be ashamed of himself if he asked sam to play such a dishonorable role. Actor or not. And im going to avoid the reasons why but Im sure it would not sit well and wouldnt fit as useful in conveying the story of Vader.

NeoBaggins, don't you think you're being a bit harsh?

"he asked Lucas could he destroy every fans thoughts of a saber color code."

Really??? I thought he just asked for a distinctive color so he could spot himself during battle scenes in the movie.

The rest of your post is good, but it has an awfully conspiratorial bent to it. As if the best thing Smauel L. Jackson has to do with his time and career is to go out of his way ruining Star Wars for you. Come on now. . .
