it wouldnt be so far out that mace windu having dabbled in the dark side for 1. has a powerful shatterpoint ability witch he can use to preordain major events such as his own death for 2. and is one of the most powerfull force weilders in the cinimatic universe of star wars eclipsed by very few and even then barely for 3. as to the reasons that mace windu would go so far as to go to corosant and create a high level clone of himself and samuel jackson with force powers may very well may not die from all that muth****ing lightning muther****in hand chopped off and muther****ing force pushed out a sky window but considering the time period he may well have just went and hid in a muther****ing cave all jokes asside he problably did just as yoda and old ben did and got out of dodge spending all his time makeing sure that no one discovers him Finn that is becomes wrestless when he discovers he has force... id say in my opinion its a very likely and profitabe plot that something like that should and very well could have happened.. for many other plot reasons that extend in scope...
